This stunning victorian semi-detached, 3 story, 3 bedroom, pet friendly town house is brilliantly situated just a few minutes from the high street of the lively and attractive town of Lymington. A terrific selection of shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants are on your door step, ready to be explored. The train station is less than 5 minute’s walk, giving access to Brockenhurst and the wider and very
beautiful New Forest. Also from there you can visit the attractions of Southampton, or Bournemouth, should you wish. Alternatively a 10-15 min walk will take you to the Ferry where you can day-trip to the Isle of Wight . Any review of Lymington and the surrounding area will tell you just how much there is to see and do. On the ground floor of this classic Victorian cottage is a superbly presented living room with an arty, avant-garde feel to it. There are very comfortable sofa’s and a large TV for downtime after all the days adventures. Board games, jigsaws and cards are also there too, for healthy family competition and a break from screen time. If you plan to eat at home there is a marvellous, solid oak extendable dining table with space and chairs for six people. Also on the ground floor is a well-equipped kitchen with a neat 3 seat breakfast bar, large fridge freezer and five burner range style cooker. The kitchen leads out on to the sunny, walled patio garden and off the kitchen is a downstairs utility room, with washing machine, tumble dryer and downstairs toilet. In the patio garden there is a cheery, yellow garden furniture set (round table, plus four chairs and an additional 2 seat sofa which can be used around the table, creating dining for six). As it is nicely sheltered, it makes a relaxing place to enjoy a coffee from the Nespresso machine, or a chilled glass of wine, a cool beer or a delicious gin and tonic. There is a fully integrated watering system allowing for some pretty flowers surrounding the walled garden. On the first floor is the spacious master bedroom (king-size bed) with en-suite and then a twin bedded room across the landing. On the top floor is the large family bathroom and a further double (king-size again) bedroom. As the photo’s show, the house has been magnificently, and very recently, decorated to an excellent standard – including new towels, bedding and pillows - to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Until this season, the house has only been used by family or friends and everyone has always commented on how homely, fun and well located it is. As well as all the great stuff about it, there are a couple of things worth knowing about the house. Firstly, the second floor double bedroom loses some ceiling height due to the eaves, so better suited to the shorter amongst us. Secondly, the en-suite is very functional and clean but quite small . Lastly, there are 3 fairly narrow steps up to the house from the small front garden, so not suitable for wheelchair access. These are small points that we make purely for transparency and if you have any further questions please do get in touch. The house makes an absolutely fantastic staycation venue and will be a family and friends favourite, due to the careful thought the owners have put into making your visit a pleasure.
