Christmas is on the way in the New Forest and we still have availability at Joyful Cottage in Milford on Sea until 27th December.

The cottage is decorated for Christmas before the local village lights switch on.

Come and cosy up in front of our log burner or cook your roast dinner in our range cooker.

Downstairs - lounge with log burner, snug with electric log burner. Bathroom with walk in shower and underfloor heating. Large kitchen diner with range cooker and seating for 6.

Upstairs - double bedroom with bathroom in room. Twin bedroom. Cosy blankets and waffle robes. High chair and travel cot.

We welcome up to 3 🐶🐶🐶

🍁As we head into late summer and the nights begin to draw in again we are looking to the autumn at Joyful Cottage here in Milford on Sea in the New Forest 🐴

As autumn nights get chillier you will enjoy cosying up in front of our log burner or reading a book on our lovely Chesterfield sofa.

Our minds might be on the Olympics and the heatwave that we have incoming this week but there is still time to plan that autumn holiday before everyone else does.

Joyful Cottage is perfect for any autumn day, with a lovely large garden for those warm sunny autumn days when you can pop a jumper on and still sit outside to those chillier days and evenings when you will want to get the log burning stove on.

The cottage is located in the heart of this fantastic village and is only a short ten minute walk to the beach.

There is lots to do in the area. Enjoy gorgeous autumn colours at Exbury Gardens or walk to Barton on Sea and get a cake and coffee before walking back.

There are lots of places that sell ice cream in Lymington but on our opinion the best ice cream is New Forest Ice Cream AND the best place to buy it is Whipsters owned by the lovely Bea and located on the cobbles.

Just over the road is Drifters which we recommend for all things drink and cake!

We are delighted that our favourite cafe in Lymington, Drifters has opened a second shop just over the cobbles which is called Whipsters. Serving New Forest ice cream it is our new favourite place!

They even sell doggy ice cream too for your four legged friends!

There is always something to do with an older cottage but we have been doing a little bit of work and great work has been done by our gardener, we think it looks great for the spring and summer season! We also have a lovely new teapot for that all important cup of tea!
