Meet Keith, the newest member of our little Daisy team. Keith has been learning the ropes and familiarising himself with the vehicles over the last couple of weeks and today had his first solo wheelchair client. We're thrilled to have him join the team and start getting to know our many clients.

Meet Gary. A super guy, always chatty and positive. It was great to catch up with him again last week when I took him to the podiatrist. He was very pleased with his new powered chair which he relies on to get around and demonstrated how good he is at loading. He's just as good reversing out!

We had a great catch up and it turns out Gary knew me from my past career in sports television. In fact, it seems Gary was a super fan and he was reminiscing about all the sports he used to love following. It was good to know someone was actually watching!

Once a month, Dancing on Wheels New Forest get together for a wonderful, happy hour of dancing held in the Ballroom at New Milton Memorial Centre. Whether you are self-propelled, use a powered chair or come with a companion, the class is designed for everyone.
Driving Miss Daisy would be delighted to provide transport if needed and the next session is on Wednesday 9th April. Let's Dance!

A month ago, on a cold and damp February day, I took a gentleman into Avon Reach Care Home so his wife could have some much needed respite while he was being well taken care of.

Today, on a beautiful, sunny spring day I was back in Mudeford to help return him home, and they were clearly thrilled to be back together. He'd only been in his arm chair for a nano-second before she swooped in with a big kiss! 😘🚙💙☀️

It's always tricky scheduling the Daisy Team for a get-together but today we enjoyed a working lunch at the Cliffhanger in Highcliffe and welcomed new Companion Driver, Keith, who will join us in March. Always good to have a catch-up especially in the lovely sunshine which we hope you got to enjoy too.
