Amazing sight at the end of our holiday cottage road today... 100's tractors and landrovers driving through the village.

Thank you for making us smile!

Great to see the plans for underway for a new and building work underway.

The snowdrops have already started to bloom in the garden and it is a lovely place to visit in January and February.

There are mobility scooters to borrow already and it is just 30 miles from our cottages.

Thinking of everyone

If you haven’t sent cards this year, or forgotten someone’s gift.
If you don’t have matching pyjamas or a festive family photograph.
It’s okay.

If you can’t find the energy to be merry and bright,
or your tree isn’t even decorated yet.
That’s really just fine.

If you don’t feel like watching your favourite Christmas movies, or honouring the traditions that you normally always do.
Don’t sweat it, my friend.

This year has been hard, for many.
Really hard.

If you can’t see a way to celebrating like you have in the past, don’t worry.
Just hang on in there, finding any joy you can in any little way.

Just make it through till next year.
One day at a time.

We need you.

Hang on in there.

You are loved.

We would love to wish you all a very Merry Christmas!

This collage of the New Forest in December has been created with the help of our guests whom have we photographed recently, (they have amazingly travelled with their wheelchair all the way from Australia - and our Porters Chair, profiling beds, ceiling hoists and changing table has helped make their trip possible)

We are delighted they choose to travel so far to stay with us - and we thought they may inspire some of our followers to embrace their own adventures in 2025.

We would also like to send special thoughts to everyone whom finds this time of year extra challenging for whatever reason, and let you know - you are not alone, we see you. sending hugs!

A lovely idea for Friday night - at the Lighthouse in Milford in Sea - this is is just six miles from us, and has a lovely hard floor, level threshold so easy for wheelchair users too... Although the gravel carpark can be a challenge, so recommend drilling off near the door then parking!

No Friday night plans? Sing the night away to a Michael buble Tribute 🎵🥂

Enjoy fizz on arrival, 3 festive courses + live music at 9pm for £60 per person.
