Even though the summer season may be over, there’s still lots to do in Mablethorpe.

Lots of pubs and fantastic eating places, children’s play area, cinema and not forgetting our shiny new leisure centre with heated accessible pool.

Come and take advantage of the mild Autumn here in Mablethorpe. We are in a wheelchair friendly town with lots to do - shopping, pubs, restaurants, leisure centre with heated swimming pool, amusements and a beautiful blue flag beach.

We are available from 19th October to 28th October 2024 - our rates are £150 per night for the retreat.

We also have availability from 22nd September until 11th October 2024 at the same rate.

We have only been up and running for approximately 5 weeks and have just said goodbye to our third guests. We are very proud that they have all left lovely feedback and we can’t wait to see them all again!

We are now taking bookings from 13th September 2024 right through 2025.

WE ARE OPEN ALL YEAR

Come and enjoy the beautiful east coast all year round. Our fully wheelchair accessible adapted pet friendly holiday retreat is a stones throw from the beach!

We have 3 bedrooms :
Our adapted bedroom with profile bed and ceiling hoist through to a wet room with a fold away shower bed. We can also provide a shower chair/stool and a tilt in space shower chair/commode if required.
Bedroom 2 is a double room
Bedroom 3 has adult strength bunk beds
We also have a separate shower room with toilet and sink.
The living area has a rise and recline chair and electric reclining settees.
The kitchen has a rise and fall sink and hob and an easy access oven.
All bedrooms and the living space have smart TV’s.
The living areas are all on the first floor which is accessed via a through the floor lift. This is entered in the hallway through a low level front entrance or from the garage which has an electric door. The internal dinensions of the lift are 1200x790mm and the weight limit is 250kg.
We have plenty of parking at the front of the retreat.

We are situated in the lovely seaside town of Mablethorpe just a stones throw away from the blue flag beach and splash pool. During the season we have areas of dog friendly beaches, but from October to March dogs are welcome on all of the beach.
There is a brand new leisure centre just a 10 minute walk away with an accessible heated pool, cafe and children’s play area.
Mablethorpe has lots of shops, eating places, pubs and amusements which are open all year and within a 20 minute walk from the retreat. The town is wheelchair friendly - the only inclines are the pullovers to the beach but these are not steep.
We have a cinema just a five minute drive away and this is wheelchair accessible .
We are a 30 minute drive from the lovely market town of Louth and 30-40 minutes from Skegness depending on seasonal traffic.
The seal sanctuary is approximately a five minute drive and we have the Wolds Wildlife Park just 40 minutes away in Horncastle . There are various nature reserves scattered around too. Later in the year you can see the seal pups at Donna Nook within 30 minutes away.

We really are very lucky to live here!!

Come to the beautiful blue flag beaches of Mablethorpe and stay in our fully wheelchair accessible adapted dog friendly Holiday Retreat.

Available dates are:

12-19 August 2024
13 September 2024 onwards.

We have 3 bedrooms :
The adapted bedroom with profile bed with ceiling hoist through to the adapted wet room. If required we could look at putting a small single bed in the adapted room for a partner/carer.
A double bedroom
A third bedroom with adult safe bunk beds
We can also provide a travel cot on request.

All of the living/sleeping spaces etc are accessible via a through the floor lift which is accessed through the low threshold front door hallway, or through the garage. The internal dimensions of the lift are 790x1200 and there is a weight limit of 250 kg. We also have stairs.

Each bedroom and the living room have smart TV’s.

The kitchen has a rise and fall sink and hob.

We have a rise and recline chair and the settees are electric recliners.

We have a washer and dryer available.

There is a brand new leisure centre a 10 minute walk away with an accessible pool.

We are a stones throw away from the beach and there are lots of pubs, shops , and eating places all within a 10 minute walk.

Why not have a relaxing break on the lovely east coast at Mablethorpe? A friendly little town with blue flag beaches, situated halfway between Skegness and the market town of Louth. An hour away from Lincoln, 50 minutes away from Grimsby and 50 minutes away from Boston.

Our fully wheelchair adapted holiday retreat has 3 bedrooms - one adapted with a profile bed and ceiling hoist, with a wet room with a shower bed, a double bedroom and a room with adult sized bunk beds, also a family shower room

The kitchen has a rise and fall sink and hob and accessible oven.

We have bookings in the summer but still have the following available :

We have had some enquiries about access to our property. We have a low level access at the front door into the hallway to the lift and stairs. We also have a large garage with access through to the hallway and lift. All of the living space is then on the first floor. The garage has a remote controlled door.

Please note that we have had lots of enquiries and bookings, and dates can only be secured with a deposit.

Hi everyone, we finally have updated pictures on our Holiday Retreat!

We are very excited and are taking bookings with immediate effect

*** 10% Discount for the first 10 bookings!!! ***

Bookings must be for at least one disabled person.
The Retreat sleeps up to 5 but we can provide a travel cot when requested too.
The adapted bedroom is a single, and we have a double room and the third bedroom will have bunk beds.
There is a general bathroom with a shower and an adapted en suite wet room with shower bed. This folds away to make room for a tilt in space shower chair etc.
The kitchen has a rise and fall sink and hob. We do not have a dining table, but have a large breakfast bar and a large wrap around table for a wheelchair user.
The lounge has all electric reclining seats on the settees, and the single chair is an electric riser/ recliner.
All rooms have smart tv’s and we have WiFi.
All of the accommodation is at first floor level, but we have a through the floor lift which is accessible through the front door and garage.
There is plenty of parking out front too.
We are literally a 2 minute walk from the sea front and a 5 minute walk from the town centre.
We have a new sports centre being built with an opening hopefully in August/September with an accessible swimming pool which we are very excited about.
We have Tesco, Lidl and Co-op in town and a handy convenience shop very close.
The town is very wheelchair friendly
