We fell in love with Mablethorpe and after a handful of visits we decided to purchase a static caravan home. As a family, we understand how unreasonable it is for families to be disadvantaged with high holiday costs during school holidays, therefore our aim is to provide a home from home feel in a static caravan near the beach for families to enjoy at an affordable cost.
The specific pitch has been selected for the quietness and closeness to the beach, but also close enough to easily access all of the amenities on the park.
In return, all we ask if that you have a great family holiday and the caravan is looked after as you would your own home.
CARAVAN
A lovely modern 12ft wide, 3 bedrooms with pull up bed in the lounge, sleeps up to 8 people and is located on the fantastic Haven, Golden Sands Park in Lincolnshire.
The caravan has been a real favourite for holiday makers during its first year of renting (2019) due to its modern open plan interior and location on the park. With brand new full wrap around veranda installed July 2019, private parking on the pitch plus additional car parking if required and located a stones throw away from the facilities and the beach to access miles of dog friendly golden sandy beach. Situated on a fantastic quiet part of the park, great for children and dogs with no traffic and lots of green to play.
There is plenty of room in the caravan for a family with high ceilings and ample seating without feeling crowded when at full capacity with one main bathroom plus an additional toilet.
Caravan consists of: double glazed windows and doors, 4-hob cooker with separate grill, modern galley-style kitchen, large open living space, practical kitchen with modern woodgrain units, L-shaped lounge seating with pull-out bed, dinette area with fan-shaped dining table, large wardrobe in master bedroom, fully equipped bathroom, separate shower room with toilet, bench-style dining area.
BOOKINGS
All breaks must commence and finish on a Monday or Friday, however if you have a query for other dates please contact us for nightly rates. All prices quoted include bed linen and beds made ready upon arrival. Optional pool/entertainment passes can be purchased direct from Haven.
For those who wish to travel down after work in the evenings but worry that they cannot access the keys to the caravan; not a problem as we operate a key safe so you can turn up anytime from 3pm onwards.
Check-in is from 3pm onwards with a check-out time of 10am on your departure day. Key safe code will be provided on the evening before check-in day.
HAVEN SITE FACILITIES
Haven site facilities offers fun and entertainment for all the family of all ages (entertainment passes required for some of these which can be purchased directly on site from Haven – (passes not required for under 4s). Some facilities include: heated outdoor pool, heated indoor pool, 2 fishing lakes, pool tables, entertainment venue with downloadable app to order drinks to your table, 3 food and drink venues, mini market, launderette, go-karts, playground, climbing wall, crazy golf, funfair rides, funworks amusements arcade, bowling alley, bungee trampolines.
MABLETHORPE
Mablethorpe beach is a stones throw away opposite the pitch and is an award winning blue flagship beach.
A short walk across the road from the site you can visit the Seal Sanctuary and Ferry Boat pub (Haven) which offers food, drink and entertainment.
The Mablethorpe town centre offers a range of facilities from supermarkets to indoor markets and not forgetting the essential fish and chips, doughnuts and ice-cream! Water sports, donkey rides, entertainers and amusements and arcades.
You can travel to Mablethorpe town via the sand train (accessed on the beach), land train or even the bus which leaves from the Haven site. There are also regular buses that go from outside Haven directly to neighbouring holiday destinations such as Ingoldmells, Skegness and Chapel St Leonards to name a few. Queens Park is a short drive away (taxis available if required) located on the beach front. Here they offer a boating lake where you can hire pedal boats, hire beach huts, an outdoor water splash park, mini golf and outdoor playground. There is also a café where you can sit back and relax.
Hardys Animal Farm – A great day, whatever the weather! Enjoy a fun-packed day learning about how animals are reared and cared for on a modern farm. Other activities include meet and feed animals, adventure play park, children tractor rides and much more.
Lincolnshire Wildlife Park – one of the UKs largest animal sanctuaries who offer sanctuary to many specifies of animals and birds, but specialise in Parrots and Tigers, holding the largest collection of each in the UK.
