An inspiring morning at Mid Wales Arts Centre, hearing from passionate individuals, businesses and organisations about how we can all celebrate Powys’ culture and heritage.
Anian Ltd is working with Powys County Council
to identify new ways to bring the area's cultural stories to life - to make them more accessible for local people, and relevant to future visitors. The aim is to build interest and pride in Powys’ rich history and contemporary culture.
So, if you live or work in Powys, or enjoy visiting the county, the team wants your input!
Share your thoughts about the area's outstanding cultural and heritage experiences, and how they can be developed in innovative ways for the benefit of visitors and local communities.

Over the last few years we have seen the decline of collaborative print being produced for Mid Wales.
Although we know information can be found online, we also know that many visitors still like to pick up brochures to use these whilst in area, and when thinking about a place to visit.
By creating collaborative print we can showcase the great things Mid Wales has to offer in one simple guide, whilst also providing a cost effective option for businesses to be a part of print, but without the hassle, or high costs designing, printing and distributing when done on an individual basis.

What do the COVID-19 regulations mean for hospitality businesses in Wales?
We are confident that our MWT Member businesses are actioning the Covid-19 guidance and legal obligations to keep everyone safe. Most of our businesses have achieved their ‘Good to Go’ status so visitors/customers can be confident that these businesses have taken every precaution to keep everyone safe.
Unfortunately, over the last few days we have seen 2 regions in Wales which have been forced into a ‘local lockdowns’ and many more in England have followed.
Our MWT businesses are all well informed, but we understand that businesses who are not part of any trade association may be confused by some of the guidance.
We have put together a short video of some of key points from this week’s announcement and we urge people to share on any local groups so we can reach as many businesses as possible.
It is vital that our sector does not face a second lockdown and that all businesses understand their legal and social responsibilities. Over 23k jobs depend on tourism and hospitality in our region and some of our small micro businesses won’t survive a 2nd lockdown.
We want to thank all MWT members for their continued vigilance and support and as always, we will continue to support you through these challenging times.
