Are any of my musician friends available this week to do a spontaneous unplugged gig/jam at a hospital in Oxford. A friend of mine is having chemo and needs cheering up. I’m going to go as they have a piano there to play but I’ll take my guitar also. She needs cheering up and it’d be a pleasure to perform for her. Could be good to create some magic for some poorly people ♥️

So I’m starting my journey in to better choices, self care and fitness. I’ve still got all my PT kit and I’ve just ordered my barefoot socks and shoes to start exploring my local trails. Being lucky enough to live in the chilterns means I have miles of trails to explore. I did go on a similar journey a few years ago and it made a huge difference to my mental health. I did a 7 mile trip today and delivered some apples to the Horse trust. I loved getting out into nature and it really helped me rebalance my mental state. I’ve just watched the Amy Winehouse movie and I’m going to be recording my EP with Dom Morley who won a Grammy with Amy Winehouse back to black album. I saw her perform when I was working as a waitress for Michael Parkinson’s son restaurant. I feel such a connection to her. I cried so much watching that film. I also remember exactly where I was when I heard that she had died. I was at SGP. I do her version of Valarie when I gig and the audience lights up. Love you Amy ♥️
