Prom 2024 🎉👗

We are aware that year 11 and year 13 proms will be coming to an end over the next few weeks. We also understand that every young girl wants to go to prom dressed up and feeling like a princess, but not all are able to.

So, as a goodwill gesture, Express would love to offer a young deserving girl who doesn’t have a prom dress or a car to get there in, all of these things on behalf of the company. As I am sure most of you are aware on the weekends in Maidstone we have the Urban Blue Bus out and about on the high street.

For those of you who are not aware of Urban Blue they are a group of volunteers who provide first aid & welfare to the people in Maidstone town on nights out. These volunteers are an essential part of the Maidstone community and deserve all the help they can get.

However, unfortunately, their bus is no longer in action due to mechanical faults and they are doing everything they can to get back up and running again to provide anyone with help when they need it on their nights out.

We ask you all to please donate to their GoFundMe page to help the Urban Blue Bus resume operations.

Let's ensure everyone in Maidstone Town is safe and looked after if they need it.

We are currently looking to recruit home to school passenger assistants.

🏫 Job Description:

Passenger Assistants are responsible for ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of children during home to school transport.
Responsibilities: - Assist children in getting on and off the vehicle safely and securely - Assist children in securing seat belts, and other equipment as required - Provide assistance for children with mobility difficulties and those with communication and behavioural needs - Monitor children during the journey to ensure their safety and comfort - Communicate and coordinate with parents, schools, and other authorities regarding any issues that arise - Report any concerns or incidents to the management team.
This job position is school term time only and runs are from around 1 to 3 hours per trip morning and afternoon (2 – 6 hours per day)

💰 FIXED rate per day
🏠 Pick up and drop off from your home

👮‍♀️ You would be required to obtain a clear DBS check and sit a one day training course all arranged by us.
