The final Local Producers & Craft Fair of the year at Lockmeadow Entertainment Centre! Don’t miss it on Saturday 14 December 🎁

In the final of our Local Producers & craft fair series for the year, we invite you to discover local makers to find something special for Christmas.

Set out in the lively Love Food Hall at Lockmeadow, you can browse at your leisure, grab a coffee or cake at one of the food stalls, or even stay for a tasty lunch.

The fair opens 10am – 3pm.

Don’t also forget to pop across to Maidstone Market, on from 7.30am – 1pm to supplement your shopping with some bargains and unique finds.

Parking is available on-site at Lockmeadow and is payable by machine or Ringo.

Thank you to everyone who came to visit Santa at Lockmeadow at the weekend. The team commented on how lovely all the children were 🎅🧝‍♀️

There was also a wonderful team of volunteer photographers who took photos for free and will email these to parents if they consented. We thank Jan, Ben and Gary for making this an affordable event at an expensive time of year.

A big thank you also to adult choir who popped in on Saturday to entertain us with Christmas carols.

And lastly, Santa will be making a final appearance on the morning of Christmas Eve at the Xmas Eve Market inside the Market Hall behind Lockmeadow. This is a private event - visit the Maidstone Market page for more information.

Vote for your favorite artwork in the 2024 Mote Park Art Competition. This is your last chance to visit the exhibition which ends this Friday.
The panel have selected their choices, but all visitors to the exhibition are invited to vote for their favourite artwork from the shortlisted entries on display. The winner of the visitors’ vote will receive a £50 voucher for art supplies.

The exhibition is in Mote Park Learning Space near the café.

Rock the Mote will return to Mote Park on the May bank holiday 2025.
