Situated in the heart of Maldon, The Tower, a Grade II listed quaint townhouse has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Situated in the heart of Maldon is our Tiny, Quaint, Townhouse, formally a smokehouse in mid 19th century, history suggests it was used as a food store, most likely to air-dry bacon

or to hold cheese for the shop located in the main building. The recently refurbished, mid 19th century town house, utilises best quality furnishings and comprises of a cosy bedroom and Art Deco living room, with a high end modern bathroom and kitchen, both of which contain underfloor heating. We've left no stone unturned to ensure your stay with us is as inviting and welcoming as possible. With items such as a Nespresso Coffee Machine, double wireless wall phone charger, Samsung Blu-ray player, (a selection of films are provided but please feel free to bring your own) Alexia Echo Dot, Dyson Pure Cool Fan & Purifier, Free fiber Wi-Fi and both Samsung and LG smart Tv's in both the bedroom and living room. There is currently no normal live TV at The Tower however, all TV apps are set up such as BBC IPlayer and you can login into all your smart apps at your convenience. To ensure you get the best nights sleep possible, we have an organic 2000 pocket sprung pillow top mattress. On top is a John Lewis cushioned mattress topper which has a thick 3cm depth, is temperature regulating, breathable and has a cotton-filled, top layer and supportive hollow fiber-filled bottom layer. All bedding will be freshly steam ironed upon arrival and are both luxury Egyptian cotton and high 2000 count cotton thread. The duvet and pillows are luxury ' just like down ' made with a luxurious 233-thread-cotton and for those with allergies won't be affected because it is made from 'Dacron Comforel Eco' fibers. If you enjoy gazing at the stars you will love our galaxy star gazing machine whilst you lay in bed and relax of an evening, you are sure to get the best night sleep! We also provide luxury cotton guest robes, cotton towels, hairdryer, iron & ironing board and Dyson vacuum cleaner. You'll love the Luxury Spa quality products provided such as body lotion, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, hand wash and hand cream. On arrival you will have M&S Scottish still water (in reusable glass bottles) a bottled pint of milk and a complimentary M&S cake for you to enjoy. The Tower is located right behind the High Street and set within a residential area, therefore there is no parking and any space surrounding The Tower is usually occupied by the residents. However we are happy to provide you with a temporary parking permit to use during your stay at The Tower. This enables you to park at Butt Lane carpark which is situated across the High Street from The Tower. The permit must be left at the property when you leave as this is our only permit for guests to use. Since we are located just behind the High Street we are in close walking distance to all the shops, pubs and restaurants. We are also only a short walk from the Promenade, but you can get around using a bus or taxi if you wanted to visit the surrounding areas.
