Taking advantage of the awesome weather at the weekend we seized the opertunity to amuse ourselves with coastal flyfishing for pollock and what an amazing experience!

Pollock hit and dive fast and rip the line from your fingers. 3lb fish feel like 10lb fish at first contact.
I'm using the Vision Fly Fishing UK #9 weight Grand Daddy pike outfit which was well washed down in fresh water afterwards...

It was an interesting charter yesterday supporting swimmers on their challenging swim from the isle of Rum to Canna. Crossing the sound of Canna's strong tidal currents was exhausting for the swimmers, a few tunes on the pipes for encouragement was appreciated though!
