We are hiring! Come join us at The Old Forge Community Pub on the beautiful Knoydart peninsula.

Our Pub’s primary visitor season runs from April to October, and during this time we welcome thousands of people through our doors to eat, drink and enjoy memorable experiences. We are looking for seasonal staff to join our 2025 team. We will have the following positions available:
~ Cook ~ Kitchen Assistant ~ Front of House Waiting ~ Bartending ~ Housekeeping ~

We are seeking an additional kitchen assistant to join our team. Immediate start through to the end of October. Duties include food preparation, plating and kitchen porter tasks. Full time seasonal, 5 days over 7 with two full days off per week to explore and enjoy Knoydart! We are a real living wage employer, and staff accommodation is available. Experience preferable. So, not that I'm worried 😢 but if anyone sees anything on social media about the Jacobite trains , please could you put something about Mallaig and tell folk you can still use the service trains, we are wonderful area with so much to offer
Arisaig - great boat trips , cafes , a centre to visit about the area, walks and views to die for.
Morar- Well what can I say , the sands of Morar, loch morar , Morag nessies cousin in the beautiful Loch Morar, loads of walks and again scenery too want more of
Mallaig , Fabulous shops, cafes, restaurants, amazing bakery , walks, boat trips , day trips to knoydart, isle of eigg, Isle of muck , Isle of rum , Isle of canna , we have a heritage centre too.
We have loads of lovely accommodation so stay and enjoy our amazing area 😀
