Summertree Farm Holiday Cottages are positioned in a secluded, quiet area just 2 miles from the beautiful, picture postcard village of Thornton-le-Dale in the North York Moors. These two lovely cottages have been cleverly converted from original farmyard buildings and are full of character and charm. The Mews is single storey with one double bedroom and a lounge, kitchen diner, ideal for couples a
nd especially for anyone with limited mobility. The other is the Granary, which is an upside down cottage that sleeps four people with the spacious open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area on the first floor to take advantage of the lovely views. Both cottages are very well-equipped; there is a cot and highchair available, a separate shared utility with washing machine, iron, ironing board etc. Each cottage is dog friendly with a private garden and plenty of parking space. They can be booked separately or together for larger parties. The Cottages provide a perfect base for couples and families looking to explore North Yorkshire and the pretty villages dotted around the North Yorkshire Moors. As well as picturesque Thornton-le-Dale, a few miles away there is the North Yorkshire Moors Railway at Pickering, Flamingo Land, Eden Camp the live WW2 Museum near Malton, Dalby Forest and the Moors for breathtaking walks or bike rides. The delightful walled-city of Yorkand the breath-taking coastal towns of Scarborough,Whitby and Filey are only about a 25 minute drive or train ride away.
