☀️ PERGOLA TIME ☀️

Now is the season when the pergola at Bogg Hall Barn really comes in to its own. Slide all the doors back, remotely fold the roof away and you have the perfect spot for a long, lazy lunch. With double doors leading in to the kitchen and ample seating for everyone, there's no better space to gather. Should the sun disappear, simply close the doors and whizz the roof back on and carry on relaxing without a care in the world.

We are looking for dedicated, enthusiastic and hardworking cleaners to join our team.

Candidates must be able to work Mondays and Fridays for busy changeover days and additional midweek days may be available.

Seasonal contract available from April/May - September/October for a minimum of 10 hours plus overtime or positions available for self-employed candidates. Potential for hours over the winter months on a smaller contract.

Drivers License and own transport essential.

Did you know that Corner Farm and The Yard are located on the same site? Only feet apart, enjoy twice the accommodation without having to travel. Although there is no internal access between the two, both living areas are spacious enough to accommodate a full capacity of thirty two guests.

We are looking for a general manager for our luxury self-catered accommodation and wedding venue. The position will initially be for maternity cover however there is scope for a position to become available for the right person and we are willing to be flexible to accommodate this.

We are a family owned and run business with high standards and would love an enthusiastic, personable and conscientious individual to join our team.

The position will evolve over time as the candidate becomes more familiar with our properties and wedding business. The role will mainly involve assisting with the day-to-day running of Grand Get-Togethers properties as well as help with our wedding venue, Westfield Farm Weddings.

Admin duties may include:
Managing social media accounts
Marketing
Responding to enquiries

Manual duties may include:
Sorting linen
Helping with changeovers
Checking properties are guest ready
Emptying/cleaning/testing hot tubs (training given)
Sorting rubbish and ensuring the outside areas are tidy
Greeting guests and resolving problems
Help setting up and coordinating weddings

We have a cleaning and maintenance team but we all help out when needed. This is not an exhaustive list and the job may vary from week to week.

20-30 hours a week including 3 full days (Monday, Friday + 1) and admin hours. You may be required to be ‘on call’ over some weekends and also work a couple of hours some Saturday mornings to test hot tubs. During the wedding season hours may change to include a full day on a Saturday. These hours are not set in stone and we can be flexible to suit the right candidate.

Due to the nature of this job ideally holidays should be taken during low season.

A valid driver’s license is essential as you will be using work vehicles whilst onsite.

Competitive pay.

Candidate must live locally due to occasional call-outs.

We decided to move our annual family get together to Scarborough area - 16 adults and 6 children. The whole weekend in the Bogg Hall Barn was fantastic, absolutely loved the open planned living/kitchen/pool/dinning area - it meant the whole family were able to do their own thing but still be part of the group. The indoor spa was a big hit with everyone, especially the kids. All rooms were beautiful, a lot of thought has gone into the design, interiors and equipment that a large group need. Everyone decided this was the best !!!! Hopefully will be back next year.

We stayed at Bogg Hall Barn & had the most amazing time. 11 adults & 4 children & one doggie visitor.
The whole place is beautifully decorated, kitted out with everything you could need, spacious, immaculately clean, each bedroom is gorgeous and the main living area is huge!
We loved that the fire pit was set up ready to be lit, games cupboard was fully stocked, endless kitchen supplies, plentiful fluffy hot tub/pool towels & great music system.
Great accessibility for wheelchair users & useful to be able to open the internal gates to drive straight in if needed.
Molly was very responsive to our questions & so helpful to make sure we made the most of our visit.
The view from the barn is so lovely too & while it was so quiet and peaceful we were also just a short drive away from shops etc. (not that we needed or wanted to leave!).
