The pictures of Jupiter (complete wirh cloud bands and 3 Jovian moons) and Saturn were taken by a participant with their mobile phone at the eyepiece of one of our telescopes on Thursday night’s Dark Skies Experience. Also included are a phone pictures of the Milky Way, Pleiades, or the Seven Sisters (Subaru if you’re Japanese) and a photo of the Dumbell Planitary Nebula, 1360 Light years away.

After a great night stargazing with sightings of Jupiter and the Andromeda Galaxy through our telescopes, on Saturday we explored Twistleton Scar and the Ribblehead viaduct (and the pub). So lovely to spend time with such a fun bunch of people on our first Stargazing in the Yorkshire Dales Weekend.
