Congratulations to and Skof Manchesterwhich has now become the second Manchester restaurant to hold a Michelin star after only opening in May 2024! It’s located in the Iconic Hanover building, a former drapery warehouse built by the Co-operative Wholesale society in 1904. The other Manchester restaurant to hold the prestigious award is in Ancoats. Yet another reason to visit our fabulous city! Check out the new Manchester Green Spaces trail which is being launched ahead of summer celebrating the best green, blue and outdoor areas in the city centre. It features 16 garden and water spaces within central Manchester and Salford and takes visitors on a route through the centre stopping by parks, gardens and water spaces along the way. You can download a map of the route at cityco.com or copies will be available to pick up at The Manchester Flower Festival at St Anns Square which is taking place between 24-27 May. This free festival transforms the city centre with themed decorations and green installations alongside live music, entertainment, alfresco food and drink, talks, demonstrations and workshops. They've been recognised as one of the top Italian restaurants in Britain 2024. Another fabulous restaurant to add to the list in Prestwich. Looks amazing - check it out!
