Giving Notice of Marriage or Civil Partnership

The term “Give Notice” relates to an act where both the partners visit the local register office and notify in writing that they are getting married or entering a civil partnership. The applicant must have resided in the registration district for at least 7 days before giving such notice.

After notifying the registered office, the partners have to wait for 28 days. This is the waiting period after giving the notice. The marriage ceremony can take place once this period is over.

Who is eligible to get a Family Visitor Visa?

To be eligible to apply and get a family visitor visa, it is pretty much important to satisfy Home Office that you are a genuine visitor and meet the following criteria as well:

Child Under 18 Dependent Visa
This particular visa is granted under the Dependent Visa category. It enables the child under 18 to enter the UK as the dependent of a UK citizen or permanent resident.

Usually, the UK grants Child Under 18 Dependent Visa if both the parents are living in the UK on a qualifying visa or as settled persons. On the contrary, the sponsor has to prove that he/she holds the sole responsibility of the child.

Who is eligible to apply for a UK Fiance Visa
You and your partner must fulfill certain conditions in order to be eligible for the Fiance Visa.
