Located in Victoria Park, with excellent transport links to other campuses, the main University and the City Centre. Mixed accommodation comprising of study bedrooms with washbasins and shared toilets, bathrooms, showers and kitchens. Highest degree of student participation from the Junior Common Room (JCR), through to the bar team, societies (debating, politics, history, science, religion and phi
losophy), committees and in all the major sport teams. As well as a range of scholarships provided by the Alumni Association (sports, music, choral and outstanding achievement scholarships). Extensive facilities include a squash court, gym, 24hr library, computer cluster, chapel and an independent student-run bar. Communal dinners separate us from sister halls in Victoria Park, we attend dinner at 6pm in gowns (formal wear is not necessary) and we enjoy the shared experience of dining together. Any important announcements are also made at dinner concerining the events of the week ahead. Interestingly, St Anselm hall has the highest level of reapplication for a second and third year in hall, reflecting the value that students place on living in hall.
