My name is Nikki Pennington and I am a personal Travel Counsellor based in Manchester. I joined Travel Counsellors in 2006 and before that I was manager of an independent travel agency. I made the decision to join Travel Counsellors because I wanted to concentrate on giving my customers the highest possible levels of personal service and independent travel advice. I can help you arrange any part of your travel arrangements including flights, accommodation, transfers, car hire and holiday insurance - so whether you just need a flight only, a last minute holiday or a round the world trip I can help. What’s more our technology enables me to work from home which means that you can contact me at times when most other travel agents are unavailable, including evenings and weekends should the need arise. With regards to myself, I love holidays in the UK and Abroad, with my husband Scott and children; Gracie, 15 and Bailey, 13. I'm a regular visitor to Malta being half Maltese, and have also travelled to the Spanish mainland, Balearics and Canaries, Greece, Turkey, Cyprus, Egypt, Disneyland Paris, and further afield to Walt Disney World Florida, Las Vegas, Austin, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Thailand, Mauritius, the Caribbean and the Maldives, and I've also been on cruising and skiing holidays. Explore the paradise of Costa Rica

Costa Rica may be small, but it has a lot to pack into a 13-night private adventure. You can go deep into the rainforest, waking up to the sound of howler monkeys and embarking on wild hikes and zip-line adventures. Try whitewater rafting along Pacuare River, one of the world’s best rafting rivers; or swim, surf, or snorkel in the Caribbean Sea, edging Puerto Viejo’s beautiful beaches. • Immerse yourself in the rainforest at Lapa Rios and take the chance to enjoy waterfall swims and guided hikes in search of sloths and pumas.

• Travel deep into Limon province, whitewater rafting along the tumbling Pacuare River and spend time with native tribes in the area, learning their traditions and practices

• Stay at the renowned Pacuare Lodge and make the most of zip-wire experiences and hikes, learning about traditional medicine and the local flora and fauna.
