Sports and exercise has been the forefront of my life for a long time as I was a member of the Great Britain gymnastics team for 8 years, competing nationally and internationally throughout my gymnastics career. Prenatal fitness is BACK ✨

My specialist pregnancy fitness session will be back on the timetable from September ❤️

I’m so excited to be welcoming a new set of ladies to the studios who’ll be having their babies next year! This session is perfect for ALL trimesters and is tailored to give you the confidence to keep moving throughout your pregnancy journey 🤰🏼

The session will be Thursday evening at 7:15pm from 7th September and bookable from 2 weeks in advance ✨

When people enquire about BABYfit 9/10 times the message starts with “I’m ready to get my body back”. After a session or two I know their mindset has switched. Returning to exercise after having a baby isn’t about getting your body back, hell… your body hasn’t gone anywhere - it’s grown, adapted, changed to grow, birth and feed a literal human. You are superwoman ✨

We’re creating mindsets that are focused on:

RECOVERY
PELVIC FLOOR HEALTH
STRENGTH
MOVEMENT FOR YOUR WELL BEING
MOBILITY
ALIGNMENT

And working on all that, in a room of likeminded mums is a pretty special place to be.

I’m returning with BABYfit… and let me tell you honestly, because I would want to ATTEND BABYfit if I was just looking for something to do with a baby and this wasn’t my gym 😂 it’s a brilliant concept and an awesome class (if I do say so myself!)

Working out with your kids sometimes isn’t a choice, sometimes it’s THE ONLY way to get it done. I know, especially in these early weeks postpartum it’s difficult to find the time (and energy!) for yourself. For me, returning back to exercise isn’t a luxury, it’s a necessity- and that isn’t just because it’s my job. Exercise is my escape, 30 mins to concentrate on me and MY well-being whilst still being present with my kids ❤️.

That’s why we introduced our child friendly sessions to the studio, we didn’t realise until having our own babies how hard it is to schedule necessary time for your health around busy parent life! Clay LOVES doing workouts with me, and I held Drew for the first 15 minutes today until he drifted off to sleep and put him down.

We have at least one child friendly session every weekday at and IM BACK TEACHING from next week! 👏🏼🙌🏼

Our child friendly sessions are so close to our hearts ❤️ before becoming a mum, I really didn’t know how much childcare could hold people back when it came to prioritising themselves and getting in some exercise! That’s why we offer child friendly classes DAILY ❤️🖤 Its absolutely FANTASTIC for your kids to see you workout and a great way to spend time together.

I’ll be starting back with Child friendly BABYfit on Monday 3rd July at 4:30pm! This particular session welcomes ALL ages of children, not JUST babies. It’s still our BABYfit session, which focuses on pelvic floor strengthening, deep abdominal activation and full body conditioning, but is available to EVERYONE ❤️✨ our other BABYfit sessions (Wednesday and Friday) are specifically for mums with babies under 3 👶🏻

I realised I had been pretty MIA on this page…. We’ve been pretty busy ❤️

We welcomed Drew (baby witton #2) last Wednesday 💙 he’s absolutely perfect.

I managed my longed for and had THE MOST incredible birth experience.

Wednesdays BABYfit will be moving to 10:30am Wednesdays and Fridays will be remaining at 9:30am whilst im off mamas so don’t worry about missing a workout ❤️ there’s loads of child friendly classes too! Of course, these will be the first classes back to normal after baby as I’ll be using them as my own recovery ❤️

This one goes out to everyone, but especially parents! 🫶🏼✨ there’s NOTHING selfish about taking 45 minutes to yourself to attend a gym class to burn off some steam, choosing better quality foods for the house to make you feel better or prioritising a good quality night sleep to make you a nicer person in the morning. YOU are important ❤️

I’ll be the first to tell you there’s not much you CANT do whilst pregnant 🤰🏼🦸🏼‍♀️ But as your body starts changing in the third trimester (and bump starts getting in the way!) these are some fab modifications for popular exercises you might have been used to doing pre pregnancy 👏🏼✨

Let me also tell you, trying to keep a 2 year old out of shot whilst he completed THE WHOLE workout with us wasnt easy 😅🏆

Swiftly moving into our 34th week of pregnancy 🤰🏼 still moving and grooving, albeit with a few braxton hicks twinges now and again now 😂

I’ve LOVED keeping moving throughout this pregnancy, although I stayed active and continued to train everyday with my pregnancy with Clay, being in lockdown made workouts unintentionally lower intensity and not being at work from 27 weeks with the gym being closed came naturally with slowing down a little earlier. This is a whole new experience for me!

I work with ladies at ALL stages of their pregnancy every Thursday at 5:30pm, and Saturday at 9:30am. I’ve been working with pre and postnatal clients since 2014, but I know pregnancy and recovery workouts can be a minefield… and that’s why I set up these prenatal sessions to give ladies the confidence, knowledge and ability to be their healthiest selfs throughout their pregnancy journey (and beyond with BABYfit!). These sessions can be booked week by week so there’s no contracted commitment, but we are ready and waiting to help you whenever you’re ready to take the step ❤️🤰🏼

Our bodies deserve MORE ✨

YEARS of metabolism abuse like missing meals, fad dieting and poor relationships with exercise have lead to metabolic and hormonal imbalances ⚖️

We brush things off as NORMAL because they are COMMON… but you shouldn’t have to live with the symptoms! You CAN feel good just by taking steps to nourish your body appropriately, exercising effectively and finding a balance that works for YOU 🫶🏼✨

A healthy and strong metabolism should look like:
Waking up hungry and ready to eat!
Constant energy throughout the day!
Progress with your training!
Restful sleep!
Warm hands and feet!
Regular bowel movements and regular periods!

One of the most important aspects of training throughout pregnancy for me has been focusing on mobility 🤰🏼✨

There’s been weeks of aches and pains as my body has changed (I’m sure still more to come too!) but easing my body into stretches and mobility work has really helped ease some tension and kept me going with higher intensity workouts! 🙌🏼👏🏼

The pilates sessions on the timetable have been so beneficial for me to dedicate some time to concentrate on mobility and breathing work, but whether it be in a class scenario or at home I urge all mamas to be to just take half an hour per week to really focus on this 🙌🏼

Let me tell you, getting back to it is HARD after a break (especially at nearly 30 weeks pregnant 😂). We ALL feel it! It would ALWAYS be easier to ‘just do it tomorrow’ but sometimes you just need to do it today!

My top tip is just BOOK THE CLASS ❤️🖤 turning up is the hardest part, being pushed through the session will be worth it and I promise tomorrow you’ll feel so much better on the other side.

Today I made sure we made it back in time for spinning, and I arrived with a brand new playlist 👏🏼 could have I just chilled on the sofa… yep! But instead I left the house as soon as I was ready and foam rolled in my spare time at the gym to ease out 3 hours in the car 🚗

And I feel 100% better for it, and ready to attack the week 🙌🏼

Mamas, please don’t be scared to continue (or start!) moving throughout pregnancy. People love a “should you still be doing that?!” BUT YES I SHOULD BECAUSE I CAN. My motto for this pregnancy has been ‘I’m pregnant not poorly’. Absolutely take it easy if that works for you… but equally if you’re having a normal low risk pregnancy have trust in your body and move in ways that feel good!

Guys! Stop getting sucked into these fads... they'll work for a short amount of time because you're in a CALORIE DEFICIT, as soon as that stops you'll bounce back to your starting weight quick!
