We finally got ourselves down (a very short drive from the cottages here) to have breakfast on Sunday morning. It was delicious! We had a big breakfast, sausage cob and American pancakes and can confirm that they were all superb. There was a good variety available on the menu and the coffee was also excellent!!

You could head down and eat inside or out. They also provide takeaway so you could easily nip out and enjoy breakfast back at the cottage without the need to cook.

Following a lot of hard work and a wonderful transformation, we are pleased to announce our new BANK TOP CAFÉ will be open from 7AM FRIDAY 26th APRIL and open 7 days a week from 7am until 12 noon. We will be open with our breakfast menu for eating in or take away and very much looking forward to welcoming you all in. Simply park up in the pub car park and find us there. The sun has been shining down here today 🌞

Half Term fun at Carsington Water.
Yesterday we headed out in the February sunshine and enjoyed some of the many activities available at Carsington Water.

We started out by heading around the Wonderful World of Water discovery center, which has lots of hands on activities and information. Both boys noticed that the spin the wheel exhibition had changed since last time we had been, so we got to learn some new facts and of course they loved spinning the massive wheel!

Next we headed out on to the park - always a winner - before heading back to the car for a boot picnic.

Once re-fuelled we took their scooters out along to the Stones Island trail, which this week they have a FREE Fantastic Fun Facts Trail to do (they regularly have themed trails available in school holidays which carry a small fee with a prize at the end).

After all the hard work fact finding and taking part in the many different activities scattered around Stones Island it was time for a quick Ice Cream stop before heading back to the car to drop off the scooters and going in to the den building area - which is where we spent the next around 1 hour easily!!

Carsington Water is located a short 10 minute drive from us here at Croft Farm and they have a wide range of activities available for everyone, including water sports.
