Wirksworth Farmers Market is back on this Saturday. Arrive in style by train from Duffield, come and have a browse around the 80+ stalls plus the lovely independent shops and cafes on the high street, why not make a start on the Christmas shopping!
The Market Special is just Β£5pp return and departs Duffield at 8.20am, return trains at 10.50, 13.15 and 15.25. No need to book, just turn up and buy your ticket on the train.
Some excellent coverage for Wirksworth Model Railway on East Midlands Today. The team brought to Derbyshire an excellent working model of Buxton (Midland) station, created by the late Reverand Jonathan Oldfield. Well done to our team who made multiple trips to North Yorkshire to transport the layout to Wirksworth.
