The Crooked House
Dating from 1395, The Crooked House in Lavenham, England, is the inspiration for the famous nursery rhyme, 'There was a Crooked Man'.
Described by Country Life as "one of the world's most photographed homes", The Crooked House's fairytale facade makes it an Instagram favourite at the heart of Britain's best-preserved medieval village.

Here are some abandoned old petrol pumps.
2 of these petrol pumps dates to the 1950’s but one these petrol pumps is from the early
1930’s, although these are abandoned these petrol pumps are well loved & are a tourist attraction by themselves, as local people & people from miles away came here & have a photograph taken with these pumps .
I took this photo with my bike in it as i only
live about 5 miles away 😊
Other people have photos taken with there
motor bikes & cars with theses petrol pumps.
As i said these petrol pumps are a tourist attraction by accident as these have just been left abandoned.

The White Horse that i showed you on my
last post/set of photos is often called
the Bratton White Horse aswell, as the village of Bratton & the White Horse are very close to each other 😊

Here is the Westbury White Horse carved
into the Wiltshire chalk hill.
Here in Wiltshire there was about 13 White Horses carved into the Wiltshire chalk hills but only 8 are visible to this day.
This Westbury White Horse also known as the Bratton White Horse was carved into the hill about 1778 but it thought that there was another much older horse carved into the hill before this one.
This horse has been cemented over to protect it & is painted over, every few years, when it starts to go gray lol
There are more dotted around the country but here in Wiltshire we have the most White Horses in any one county.
The oldest White Horse here in England is the Uffington White Horse which is just outside our county of Wiltshire & is believed to be about 800 years old 😊
By the way these are my own photos , as i only about 7 miles from Westbury 😊

Here is another beautiful Thatched roofed Cottage, just 3 miles from where i live here in Wiltshire called Sandy Lane nr the famous village of Lacock 👍
Someone has suggested on my last post on here, that my photos are not real lol

This lovely round building was built in the 1600’s for the soul purpose of dry wool.
As my home town of Melksham was a wool town 100’s of years ago.
This lovely round building was never & has never been a house & it still stands proudly in our town of Melksham, Wiltshire, England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Here is the 12th Century Bath Abbey in
the City of Bath, England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿
Although Bath Abbey dates back to
the 11,000’s, there has been a place of worship on this site since the 7th Century
This actual Abbey has been restored a few times over the years, even in the
2nd World War, the City of Bath was bombed & the Abbey was also slightly damaged & repaired again.
When me & Lorraine went into Bath Abbey they had the Planet Earth show in the Abbey

The Circle of Stones of Avebury on a lovely sunset evening

Here is a lovely little video of a lovely sunset at the Circle of Stones of Avebury from last night, here in Wiltshire, England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 The Circle of Stones of Avebury are about 4,600 years old, similar to the World Famous Stones of Stonehenge which is also here in my home county of Wiltshire.
