Down at the bottom of our road there are odd things happening - mentions of film making, additions to the old road bridge at Leaderfoot and the name Sam Mendes is allegedly being touted and a bit more......watch this space and did anyone mention to them that Harrison Ford has already trod this path!!

Self catering cottages and B&B just outside Melrose. Set in 8 acres of parkland and garden Kirklands is 5 minutes walk from the River Tweed with several of the well known fishing beats within easy reach. It is an ideal base for walkers or those who want a relaxed time in the Scottish Borders. In addition there is plenty of “play space” for our younger guests. Melrose has a very good selection of shops and “eateries” and is 5 minutes from Kirklands.
