I'm a Sheffield Wednesday fan, on the way to today's match near the college my family were approached by a Boro fan in her 60s who asked if she could speak to us.

She was visibly emotional and introduced herself as Jill and her partner as Andy.
She explained that her brother Brian Crawford was a Wednesday fan who had died during COVID in 2020 and she had brought his 1993 SWFC shirt and his 1991 Cup Final sweatshirt to the match and wanted a Wednesday fan to take them into the away end in his honour and pass them on to someone who would appreciate them.

Jill and Andy walked all the way to the ground with us and we chatted about her brother, Boro and the Owls. Jill had been a season ticket holder in the South stand but wasn't now, and had only got a ticket to the match this morning, in the West stand.

Jill mentioned that Brian knew SWFC fan Tango; we saw Tango outside the stadium and he said he remembered her brother and we passed on the shirt and sweatshirt for him to take in, and then pass on.

I'm posting on here so that if anyone knows Jill they can tell her that Tango has the shirt, and her brother was remembered today.

The new STACK Middlesbrough development in Exchange Square. A fantastic addition to the town that will hopefully help bring new life to the area. The venue was buzzing yesterday after Boro's win.
