The Keys nightclub on Yarm High Street will be open every weekend in the lead-up to Christmas and the calendar is jam-packed with exciting events to get you into the Christmas spirit.

Kicking things off on Saturday 30th November JLS star, presenter and I’m a Celebrity contestant, Marvin Humes will return following his sell-out performance earlier in the year, giving fans another chance to see the star up close and personal. Marvin has recently returned from the JLS 2024 Summer Hits Tour which saw the band performing at large-scale open-air venues to huge crowds.

On Saturday 7th December, legendary DJ Fat Tony will take to the decks joined by local heroes Max Jones (Radio 1 Dance Weekend) and Karl Frampton (Sidetrak Records). Fat Tony has DJed all over the world playing the biggest events from Glitterbox to Glastonbury and providing the soundtracks for fashion brands like Vogue and Versace.

Between Christmas and New Year, Spandau Ballet star and actor, Martin Kemp will be bringing his Back to the 80s show to town.

Other events taking place at the club include the Abba Fabulous stage show on Friday 29th November, Princes of Motown on Friday 6th December, Magic Mike Bottomless Brunch on Saturday 14th December and the Luvbug 70s Disco Show on Sunday 29th December. Tickets for all special events are available on Fatsoma. Readers can receive a discount by entering the code XMAS24 for any of the events mentioned.

Resident DJs DJ Nige, Mark Thornton and Hendo will be on hand to soundtrack the rest of the festive period. Keep an eye on the venue’s social media pages for full details.

Stars from ITV soap Emmerdale enjoyed a trip on the iconic Saltburn Cliff Tramway yesterday (Sunday).

The actors have played characters past and present in the hit drama including:
Zoe Henry (who plays Rhona Goskirk – front left), Katherine Dow Blyton (who played Harriet Finchley – right back), Olivia Bromley (who plays Dawn Taylor, right, middle), and Emma Atkins (who plays Charity Di**le – right, front).

Trevor Russell, Team Leader at the Tramway, said: “The guys working said they were all absolutely lovely and were enjoying a day out. They took the time to be photographed and were just really nice to everyone. I’m devastated I wasn’t there to see them – I’m an absolutely huge fan, I never miss an episode…just my luck! But seriously, it was lovely that they came to our town and attraction to enjoy themselves.”

Just a reminder to dog walkers, our cameras do work in the dark, a couple walking past last night let their dog p**p outside our Property, they were also asked if they were going to pick it up twice, which they pretended not to hear, these nappy sacks are 75p from Poundland and will fit nicely in your pocket, no excuses, Keep Ormesby Tidy. ❤️

Ryanair will launch a summer seasonal route to Málaga from Teesside Airport with flights going on sale today, November 13, on the Ryanair website and app.

Starting on March 31st, Ryanair will operate two flights per week every Monday and Thursday until October 23rd.
