Our Story

Here at Choosing Pathways we aim to be the best at what we do, we want to help young people move into something meaningful and sustainable.

Our support is tailored to suit every individuals needs, and is offered in many different ways. We begin our process by sitting down and finding out what the person wants to do and what their ultimate goal is. We can then work on an individual plan to outline what support they might need to get where they want to be. This might be help to create or update a CV. We might be required to offer support to create a cover letter to help with speculative approaches to employers. It might just be that the young person does not know if they have the required skills and qualifications to pursue the job, therefore we will need to identify any needs by completing a skills check.

From here we offer support to look for work, identify opportunities that are available and match the person’s skills. We then help to apply for the role, offering support with the application process and other things along the way. Once the interview is in the bag we can then work on getting prepared for it, looking at the questions an employer might be asking and how to highlight existing qualities so that you can show them that you match the role. And then hopefully from here we can congratulate you on getting the job and help you sustain this progression by offering our continued support whilst in the role.
