2024 has been an incredible year for travel & it’s been an absolute pleasure to help so many of you book & plan those special trips!
We were lucky enough ourselves to get away with trips to Spain, Orlando, Miami, Turkey, Lapland & two cruises!
I hope that 2025 brings even more travel joy to you all! We are certainly looking forward to a few trips of our own & I can’t wait to share those with you!

Absolutely loved our husky safari today - a true bucket list experience & it exceeded all expectation’s 💜
❄️The most amazing time at the Elves Village this morning
If you are staying in Levi or Yllas on a Santa Break with Inghams then this is included in your trip as standard.
We had three hours here & there was so much to do! Sledging/ringos, football, baking gingerbread & making decorations with the elves, roasting marshmallows & sausages, visiting the reindeer & so much snow fun! This is also where you have a private meeting with the main man himself 🎅🏻
💎On top of all this the location is absolutely beautiful & we just enjoyed wondering through the woods & playing in the snow!
💕Having been home a few days now I’ve been reflecting on our amazing trip & thought it might be helpful to summarise our visit & also post some hints & tips!
💜Our trip consisted of 5 nights at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, 5 nights at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort, 9 nights at Disney’s Boardwalk Villas & 4 nights cruising on Royal Caribbean’s Utopia Of The Seas to finish the trip! We flew with BA into & out of Orlando & couldn’t fault them! We loved every part of our trip & each resort offered something different - having never stayed at the Contemporary or Boardwalk it was great to discover these & Saratoga Springs is a favourite of ours! If you’d like to ask me any specifics about these resorts or parks feel free!
🛳️This was our first cruise with Royal Caribbean & on a brand new ship it was impossible not to love! It was the perfect mix of relaxation plus enough to keep active kids entertained!
Disney Hints & tips:
🥤Disney Resort Mugs – these are available to buy for $22 & have unlimited refills (soft drinks) at any Disney hotel throughout your stay there. Note that these cannot be used in the parks.
🛒Grocery shopping – we placed a Walmart order (other stores are available) & had it delivered to our hotel on arrival day. Bell Services will store it for you & you can either collect from them or they will bring it to your room. We ordered items such as bottles of water, milk, cereals & snacks to save us some money in the parks.
🍶Water – as above buy bottles elsewhere & take into the parks. If you have a freezer in your accommodation then freeze them & it will keep the water icy cold as it melts! You can also ask for free ‘iced water’ at any of the food counters.
🍽Food – the meals out there are huge & we often found sharing was more than enough (& completely acceptable). Also adults can order kids meals at quick service restaurants & these are usually more the portion size we would expect!

✈️All set up in our airport hotel for the night & what a view from the room! Can you spot Concorde in the background?!
We’re staying at the Premier Inn at Heathrow T4 - our flight departs from T3 tomorrow morning so we will get the Heathrow Express across which is free to use when transferring between terminals. We booked the room as a a package with our parking which meant the room only cost around £20!
Fingers crossed we get some sleep tonight 🤞
