You will by now have all seen the recent posts from Ben explaining he was selling the business.

We are happy to announce that we Tenby Taxis are the proud new owners and the business has transitioned across but will still operate as Haven Airport Transfers.

At Haven Airport Transfers it will be business as usual continuing the excellent standards set by Ben for many years.

🛫 What you can expect 🛫

👉All bookings for this year and 2025 are safe

👉Everyone will be contacted at least a week prior to departure to confirm pickup times etc.

👉Going forward we will operate the same way you’ve become accustomed to, improving where possible.

👉The business transfers into a much larger business with a fleet of 22 vehicles, with a mixture of -

Minibuses
People carriers
Cars

This allows us to give a much more extensive service and not limited on availability for your bookings meaning your holiday goes ahead with no complications.

👌Please read Carefully, so after 12 years today my ownership of this business is at an end. I am unbelievable proud of exceptional business we have built from nothing to becoming one of the most successful 👏 private hire companies in West Wales.

Like I mentioned in earlier post, we have some challenges at home with one of my children and they need the full love & support of their mum & dad.

I want to thank each and everyone for your support over the years and thank you to Paddy . Talking to another operator today we both agreed how many people take for granted how difficult this job is and as become, increased traffic, delayed planes, 24/7 on call, sleepless nights etc etc the burden of responsibility can take its toll on anyone and now I feel it's also time for a change. Some have asked am I retiring 😅 having a nice holiday 😅 you must be JOKING!!! It's straight back to work starting up my new business and I will also be remaining with this company part time. I have known nothing but work, work since I was 14 and even though I'm nearly 40 and feeling a little tired 😅 it's time to roll up my sleeves and get on with my new adventure.

🏃‍♂️‍➡️Sorry for the slow updates but between work being so busy and I took a week off with my kids, then the following week I had flu or covid 🤷 ( which really knocked the s**t out of me ) it's been difficult to train. But I certainly been doing 2 or 3 miles every other day behind the scenes.

💪Today was the big one, 6 WEEKS TODAY IS THE CARDIFF MARATHON and I just hit my personal goal 11.5 miles this morning in 2 Hours absolutely chuffed.

🙏Thank you to EVERYONE who's donated, unfortunately I just don't have the time to thank everyone individually. Also thank you to everyone at my wife's place of work Clean image who are helping rasing lots of money.

😪Customer notice for September 😪

Yet again this week I have received at least 20 Requests for Transfers in September just this week alone, we are already fully booked for September and have been for a number of months. I don't know how we are going to cope with what we got booked in already without taking on more.

September is ALWAYS the busiest month of year and is booked up early. I'm so so sorry but please stop with the Requests for September. The next availability now is mid October.

👉OPEN FOR BUSINESS AS USUAL- PLEASE READ CAREFULLY.

Hello, everyone.

So after 12 years of running this business and all the hard work of building it to become No1 choice for transfers in Pembrokeshire, regrettably today we as family have decided to put the business up for sale due to family commitments.
Please note that all bookings will still go ahead and new bookings will still be welcomed. Haven Transfers will CONTINUE with Paddy and myself for a short time until a new owner can be found, but eventually, I won't be with it anymore.

I was saddened last week to have first family holiday with my children in 5 years to receive some criticism off SOME customers for having a few days off with my kids and because they was unable to place a booking for January 🤷.

Over the last 12 years, we have provided a 5* 24/7 service throughout Pembrokeshire, however sadly some think I am at their mercy 24/7 and this is no longer fair on my family. One of my daughters is facing some challenges, and she needs the full love, attention & support of her mum & dad. My top priority now will be to find a new owner who can take the business forward with support of myself for few months and Paddy to help us ensure that we are still giving you the world class service that you have come to expect from Haven Transfers.

Below are a few basic questions and answers that I hope will answer peoples enquiries, and it will save lots of messages.

1) Are you closing?
👉Absolutely not!! It's business as usual and will eventually be sold as a going concern

2) Is my booking safe?
👉100% of all bookings are guaranteed, and you will see no disruption to service

3)Will this affect me?
👉 Absolutely not! It will be the same drivers, same phone number, same 1st class service, just eventually possibly a new owner.

4) Are you still taking new bookings?
👉Again, YES! Absolutely, it's business as usual, we just wanted to make customers aware that the business is for sale but still fully operational.

👉I'm not really but two point that keep cropping up, one I keep getting customers phoning me when I'm driving to place a booking and even though I tell them I'm driving they are giving me their transfer details, I cant drive & write things down. Please note I won't except a booking over the phone anyway 🤷. Text, WhatsApp, email or Facebook messenger.

Secondly- once again I am seeing an increase in SOME customers giving the wrong details, dates,, times, terminal etc ( this is why I like EVERYTHING in writing) I believe we give a world 🌎 class service, but if you don't know when you are travelling or what you require. 🤷Didn't want to post the following but unfortunately I'm getting too many calls and bookings for September.

September is always our busiest month of year, kids go back to school and rip off airlines drop their prices from the summer ☀️ holidays. This means September is usually fully booked by March and this year is no different. I am so so sorry but I have no availability in September, I am already probably over booked trying to keep everyone happy, but we can't take anymore for September. 🏃‍♂️‍➡️So today was the day, mid way through training I set myself a challenge 💪 10 miles in 2 hours. I didn't hit target but only just missed it. 9.3 miles in 1 hour 55 mins.

🏃‍♂️‍➡️The heat didn't help,no breakfast due to work, 1 hr 30 in I was out of steam. But I'm still pleased with today, looking back at January when it was a mile an hour 😅.

🏃‍♂️‍➡️I've done it, 7.5 miles in 1 hr &20 minutes. Beyond chuffed to think back in January I wasn't doing a mile in an hour 😅. Just Need to loose another stone in weight and improve my rhythm.
