Value Independence CIC Value Independence exists to provide specialised services for people with disabilities ❤️

We will work to provide each of our members with an individual learning package solely based on their own choices and aspirations. We will also work closely with families and other organisations to help unlock true potential and bring out new ideas. With time our learning support programmes lead to real personal developmental outcomes - improved confidence, new skills - whether it be to travel ind

ependently on public transport or help with a community project; to gaining recognised qualifications at OCN level, work placements and in some cases supported employment. We believe the effectiveness of our service depends on the quality of the learning experience we endeavour to provide. We do our very best to ensure this includes real work, with a variety of both educational and physical activities. With all our activities we hope our members will have and find variety, enjoyment, self expression, challenge and a chance to meet new people. In addition to our sessional work we also offer once monthly social evenings consisting of cinema/pub nights and evening meals out together. Key principles

Value Independence works in cooperation with other agencies and organisations within the field - both making and receiving referrals. Value Independence endeavours to maintain the highest professional standards in respect of our members' wellbeing and safety. All staff receive ongoing training and are CRB checked to an enhanced level. Value Independence depends on customer satisfaction for its financial viability.

The opening of Value Independence CIC "Peace by piece" art exhibition at Oriel y Parc in St David's has been a great success. Thank you so much to everyone that came along to meet the artists and support the event.
The exhibition is running till the 19th of December 2024.
We are showcasing over 150 pieces of artworks to include the tranquil "Under the sea" themed sensory room experience... we hope you love it as much as we love being creative.

COMMUNITY HELP AND SUPPORT NEEDED VALUE INDEPENDENCE ARE URGENTLY ASKING FOR DONATIONS OF ANY MOBILITY AIDS, WHEELCHAIRS, DISABLED CHILDREN’S BUGGIES, CONTINENCE PADS, SANITARY SANITARY PRODUCTS FOR OUR CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE IN KENYA, AFRICA back in April Sam and Jo went out to Kenya to help the project Love Yr neighbour which is run by Alex Manoah and his wife, Ruth. We had an amazing experience helping the disabled children and their parents, who haven’t any adaption’s to help and support them - we want to make sure that our friends In Kenya have mobility aids like us and at least a wheelchair to walk the miles needed each day - please can you help us to make a real difference in their lives - Any donations to Value Independence in chrales street, milford haven or please call and we can collect on 01646695785 The container leaves soon but will get to Africa in February ready for our next trip next summer.
