We are soooo excited for September weekend here at The Sweet Shop. Traditional Millport Events, Live Music, Competitions, Wonderful Window displays, and of course the Spectacular Fireworks. Big shout out to the fantastic team at Millport September Weekend and IOCTA for all your tremendous work - you are all superstars.

As well as our regular hours, we are open late both Friday and Saturday nights so you can enjoy the entertainment with your favourite sweetie or a hot/cold drink.

The Old Boathouse is all set for the bank holiday weekend and looking forward to welcoming it’s guests and 🐶 tomorrow. Hopefully the weather will be kind but then the 🌞 always shines on Cumbrae. I have limited availability left for the summer. The bluebells are in full bloom at The Old Boathouse. The garden is set over 4 terraces with sea views and The Cathedral of the Isles. It’s a lovely outdoor space for eating, reading, enjoying a gin or simply chilling out with the log burner on. The garden is fully enclosed and a safe place for your pet to explore 🐶🌴

The Old Boathouse is all set to welcome its guests’ arriving tomorrow for New Year. Just a few minutes away from Newton Beach they will be able to blow the cobwebs away with a walk on New Year’s Day or even participate in the Loony Dook at Kames Bay! Or they could just stay in and enjoy the view with an Isle of Cumbrae Distillers Gin and Tonic 🥳
