There’s plenty to keep all ages entertained at Upper Close. The games room is equipped with a full sized table tennis set 🏓, a pub style pool table 🎱 and of course the darts board 🎯. Many a competitive tournament has been played here!

Our cottage settled in the glorious Welsh countryside is the perfect place to relax and recharge the batteries. Set on our family farm, close to the Welsh/English border it’s a great place to chill out with family and friends!

Upper Close 🌾
The fully enclosed garden at Upper Close makes it a perfect location for families with young children and furry friends. Child/dog watching isn’t a chore when you can sit back and enjoy the panoramic views from the cottage. Nestled down our own private drive you’re only disturbed by birds chirping, sheep bleating, the occasional farm vehicle passing and maybe Wren coming to meet her new neighbours! 🕊️🐑🐕

It’s all about the views! Our generous sized balcony adds a touch of luxury to your holiday! Nestled high up amongst the trees, above our farmland, it’s the perfect place to keep an eye on our sheep and cattle - they can be very entertaining to watch! A great place to recharge the batteries, also the perfect place for bird watching and star gazing! ⭐️🌟⭐️

The fully enclosed garden is a great place for furry friends to safely run around in - allowing their owners to chill out in the hot tub or daydream on the swinging bench on the verandah. The perfect place for a relaxing holiday!

Our undercover area at our new lodge has really come into its own - built with the colder months in mind it has actually been very useful with this years ‘summer’!! Guests have still been able to enjoy being outside - without getting wet 💦! Fingers crossed 🤞 for better weather ahead 🌞🌞

Worzel Wood, accessed directly from our field where the cabins are, is one of the nicest walks you can go on. Our guests love the path, whether taking their doggy friends or just themselves. I actually managed to persuade Richard to venture for a walk a while ago! He seemed to enjoy it too! 👣

Upper Close 🌾
Our lovely cottage, nestled in the centre of the Radnor Valley, is a great place for friends and families to meet up. No neighbours, peace and quiet and panoramic views! We have a lot of parties of 3 generations, who love the space inside and the tranquility outside, making memories together. 🌞🌞🌞

It’s that time of year again! I’m sure the sheep must be very grateful not to have their woolly fleeces on in such gorgeous weather that we’ve been having recently. It’s a very busy time - but, as you can imagine, Mars absolutely loves it. He’s at his happiest when there’s sheep work to be done! 🐑🐕🐑

Our guests love spending time with our two goats - and the goats absolutely love having them as neighbours. As new guests arrive they rush over to the fence expecting little treats - their favourites are sliced apple and carrots, or indeed most vegetables. A very healthy diet! 🐐🐐

Red Kite Lodge 🌾
Red Kite is the second lodge we built, which is nestled up in the trees of Worzel Wood, on the hillside of our family farm. Here you can enjoy watching the antics of our flock of sheep 🐑and herd of cattle 🐄 , with lots of sightings of wild deer 🦌 and not forgetting the red kites soaring in the skies above. It really is a special place to relax and recharge! ☀️☀️

Our lovely little cottage on the hill is a very special place. It really is the perfect place for a rural retreat/detox! There are no neighbours to bother you, just the occasional sheep passing by and the occasional walker - oh and of course our 2 resident Pygmy goats, who love being spoiled by our guests. The only noise you’ll hear is birdsong and the bleat of the hill sheep. It really is idyllic! 🐑🐐🕊️

Our cottage is the perfect place for family and friends get togethers. Situated down our own private drive peace and quiet is guaranteed! The only distractions are sheep bleating, birds singing, the occasional farm vehicle and possibly Wren (our gorgeous sheepdog) coming to pay her new neighbours a visit!

My favourite time of year! The bluebells in Worzel Wood have been another magical show, as always! A carpet of blue beneath the trees. With the scent from the plants, the wild garlic in particular, and the constant singing of the woodland birds, it really is an amazing place to walk through. Our guests have certainly loved having such great walks on their doorstep!
