JOB OPPORTUNITIES!
Due to a much-valued team member’s change in circumstances, we currently have the following roles available at our livery and hunting yard near Simonsbath, Exmoor National Park.
A 12 box American style barn and indoor arena was built at Emmetts in 2020. We arrange regular training clinics with world class coaches alongside having a great group of horses and livery clients. Our aim is to run a forward-thinking, friendly business in a spectacular part of the country and now we are searching for the right people to take the facility onward!
YARD MANAGER – full time role/5 day week.
We are looking for a dedicated person who brings with them experience in working on a livery/hunt yard and is looking to continue in a Yard Manager position or is ready to step up to the role.
Attention to detail, high standards, a love of horses and enjoyment of interacting with people is essential.
This person will manage the yard routine, exercise programmes, book appointments with farriers, vets, physios, etc. as well as liaising with potential new livery clients and building on our arena hire diary and schedule of training clinics.
This a brilliant opportunity for somebody wanting to build an exciting calendar of events around the day-to-day running of a livery yard.
A RELIABLE, ENTHUSIASTIC YARD PERSON – part time.
To do all yard jobs, including riding for the right candidate. We have some lovely horses to look after in a modern yard. The role could also include arena maintenance, tack cleaning, grooming and other day-to-day yard duties.
Both of the above roles are available from November and offer good rates of pay, could be employed or self-employed and there is a possibility of bringing your own horse.
