Situated on Butlins in Minehead is this luxury 3 bedroom caravan for hire. The caravan has a veranda and is equipped to a high stranded. Butlins Minehead is a great base for a family holiday with lots of on-site entertainment to enjoy.

We have finally had an email from Butlins today to say it is ok to sublet our caravan and the site will be open from 13th July.

Unfortunately, Butlins have said there will be no facilities open on the site at all. The caravans can be occupied but nothing else will be open.

Minehead town centre is within walking distance of the caravan park and the beach is across the road. There are local supermarkets such as Iceland, Tescos, Lidl and Morrisons there are also local chip shops and pubs (we do not know what kind of restrictions or measures the local pubs have or their rules).

We know this is disappointing and are offering our guests the choice to move their dates to next year, be refunded or we are reducing our prices to £325 for the week – Monday - Friday and £275 for the weekend. There is £100 security deposit is required per break.

We’re still waiting to hear when Butlins are going to re-open their sites, a paddling pool in the garden just isn’t the same.
Hopefully we’ll have some news soon and the sun will still be shining ☀️

We’ve had an update from Butlins about the Live Music weekends in September and October.
As these are busy weekends which would impossible to hold with social distancing, Butlins have cancelled these and added some more family breaks.
We still don’t have any information about opening dates for Butlins but will share it as soon as we can!

As we can't get to Butlins for another few weeks as they've announced the sites will be closed until July 16th, I thought I'd share these pictures of Butlins over the years.

So many happy memories have been made at the huge resort over the years

Butlins announced this week they are keeping their sites closed until 2nd of July at least.
Any guests coming in July and August do not have to pay their outstanding balances until we have confirmation that Butlins will be open. If you are concerned about a booking, please do get in touch with me.
Hopefully the sun will keep shining and we’ll be able to get back down to Minehead soon.

Butlins are closing all their sites including Minehead from 20th March until 16th April to minimise the spread of Coronavirus - this is a temporary closure.

We will watch what is happening and let you know as soon as we know anything.

And for the adults there are plenty of live music weekend with a huge variety of entertainment - new this year is The Steampunk Seaside Spectacular
"The Minehead Steampunk Festival will feature the very talented Mr Paul Snook in a variety of ways. As the mad inventor Ichabod Steam he will be performing during the day outside the Old Hospital in the Steam-powered Submarine with his Animatronic Backing Band - genuine mechanical robots built by Mr Snook, which he controls with foot pedals while he plays guitar and sings and narrates his adventures, all packed into a caravan converted by Mr Snook into a mobile mini-theatre, complete with special effects. Mr Snook will also be setting up an "open Mic" stage in a gazebo ( for weather protection) where it is entirely probably that he will perform a few numbers, possibly with the backing tracks he has created, wherein he plays every instrument and every note. On the Sunday night in the Regal Theatre you'll be able to see as well as hear this, as he has also videoed himself playing the drums, keyboards, and double bass - and this will be played on screens behind him, truly his own backing band, hence "The Retro Clones". Be warned, there is occasionally audience participation!! And on the Saturday night, Mr Snook will be performing his new show, Ichabod Steam's Dark Side Gothic Adventure, which will also feature Debbie Holland."
