Looking for Deep Sea Fishing Trips from Minehead Harbour on the Bristol Channel or scenic coastal cruises and boat trips from Minehead Harbour?. We offer fishing trips & coastal cruises from picturesque Minehead Harbour situated on the Bristol Channel between Watchet and Porlock weir. Our regular catches include Cod, Ray, Huss, Whiting, Spurdog, Smooth-hound, Bass, Conger, Tope, Dogfish, Bream, Gu

rnard and many other mini species too numerous to mention. Skipper Mike Webber has had many years crewing experience with his father - well known Minehead skipper Steve Webber of Osprey Charters. He has now decided to stretch his legs and go it alone with his new boat Teddie Boy. Teddie Boy is a 10m Cougar Catamaran fully licensed and insured, code of practice 60 miles. Tea & coffee, gas hob and flushing toilet. Experienced anglers, beginners and ladies very welcome. Rods, bait and full tuition available on board. We also offer coastal cruises along the beautiful and dramatic Somerset and North Devon coastline taking in the highest sea cliffs in England and boasting many bird species along with Porpoise and dolphins!

Apologies for the quiet social page it’s been very busy few weeks for us, we have been out catching plenty of different species for the lads on charters including rays/tope/bass/mackerel/pollock/bream/huss and many many more.

Some of you may know we sold our 10m Cougar recently, but we are still operating a 10m Cheetah catamaran and 2 other boats to fulfill trips.

Fishing is really starting to pick up, with some nice Pollock,Bass,Mackerel etc on our Reef Trips. Some cracking Tope upto 66lb, congers, hounds, Huss etc keeping everyone busy on the trips.

Teddie Boy Charters will be offering discounted full day trips, at just £400 for the full boat, on the following dates. These trips are being run with a representative of the Angling Trust present to engage anglers around local issues such as the development at Hinkley and large scale aggregate dredging in the Bristol Channel.

Trips are capped at 8 anglers and to secure the discounted price, payment must be made at the time of booking.

Great trip today with Honiton SAC we had lots of Spurdog to 20lb, hounds to 17lb, small eyed rays, bull Huss, congers, dogfish. Non stop action for a top of the tide trip.

Nice to be back out last couple of days finding a few fish but proving hard in the East winds, however bull Huss, blonde rays, thornback rays, congers, whiting, and dogfish making up most the day. Prior to the last 2 days the ray fishing has been very productive also found a couple of cod to 8lb. Smoothounds, spur dogs showing on the deeper marks, fishing is definitely picking up through what’s been a very breezy start to the year !

Hello Folks,

Once again I’d like to thank all my customers and friends for what’s been a fantastic year of Fishing aboard Teddie Boy Charters

Unfortunately I can only upload a certain amount of pictures otherwise there would be hundreds and hundreds.

This year saw us head right down to the North Coast of Cornwall where we caught 3 Thresher sharks in 1 day tp over 350lbs, saw Tuna everywhere another day saw catch a few porbeagles to 200lb too!!!

Tope Fishing was also good with not as many fish in the past year but much bigger average fish, Bass to 13lb, Cod to 17lb, Spurdog to mid 20s, hounds to 26lb and much much more !!!

Species fishing and competition were very successful many days managing an average of 16-20 species on a single day with the best days of 24 on a single day.

We are taking bookings for 2024 for mixed fishing, species competitions, Lundy, Tope, Bass and multiple day trips!!!

January Cod Comp - 13/14th (5 Boats - £1000 1st prize)

MBA Species Comp- 20/21st June (£1000 1st Prize)
