Hi all we are popping down this coming weekend to install enough seating for the decking to cater for 8 people as we feel if we let to 8 you should all be able to enjoy it together.
A few other things need upgrading but it's little things that we just improve or replace as needed last time I installed a proper outside light to the decking area and put a Nescafe Dolce Gusto pod machine in the kitchen
Will let you know how it all goes.

Well the season has come to a close and its time to put our holiday home to bed for the winter.
Firstly we would like to thank all our amazing guests throughout the season we've had no damage so no extra costs that has allowed us to put a beautiful wrap around decking on, install a dishwasher and replace the main bed with a new comfortable built in memory foam one .
All new duvets for next season too. so I now have a couple of extra jobs to complete mains lighting to the deck and get the electrician in to sort out the annoying bedroom light switch.
Drain down will now be done so no burst pipes heating will be serviced at start of the season a full clean throughout and outside pressure wash .
With our massive bench outside on the grass and the decking furniture it means there is potential seating for upto 12 which of course we're not allowed but you may want to arrange for day guests to visit.
Barbecues are of course not allowed on or near the decking but are fine by the bench on the grass.
Please remember never store the bbq under the van after use cold or not they still let off carbon monoxide and can and will kill .
Have a brilliant new year as we hope to have to Please also keep in mind we also have another holiday home at Devon cliffs.

Just a short note to let you all know that we keep upto date with our vans.
Ingoing guests this Monday to butlins will be enjoying all new duvets a new mattress to the double a refresh on decorative pictures new outdoor cushions for the decking furniture.
More will be done for the start of the next season for all our vans

Adult weekends update from Butlins

ARRIVING ON RESORT

In line with government guidance for larger venues, we are asking all guests to provide evidence that they are at low risk of transmitting
COVID 19 by showing on arrival:

• Proof of a negative Lateral Flow Test (LFT), reported and demonstrated via your NHS COVID Pass on the NHS app, or a text message from the NHS confirming this information. The test needs to be taken within the last 48 hours prior to your arrival.

• Or proof of full vaccination – both doses received at least 14 days prior to arrival. It must be demonstrated either via your NHS COVID Pass on the NHS app or vaccination letter. Your vaccination card will not be accepted.

• Or proof of natural immunity, demonstrated via your NHS COVID Pass on the NHS app.

The above must be accompanied by a form of photo identification. Ideally, this would be a passport or driving licence. However, if you don’t own one of these another form of identification will be acceptable if it has your name and a clear photograph.

*Please note that without the above information, access to our resort will not be permitted, and you will be asked to go home. We would hate for this to happen so, please ensure that all your guests are aware of what to bring with them!

It’s decking day! Our wraparound decking is being installed today and will be finished tomorrow with decking furniture all ready to go on. Pictures to follow when it’s all finished!

New decking going in on the 4th of August as long as all goes to plan.
I'm joining guests that day to drink tea and build up decking furniture.

We've had confirmation today that our decking will go in on the 4th of August.
Guests will be in and we have been promised disruption will be kept to a minimum I myself will be be there on the day installing decking furniture.
So there we have it free WiFi and decking at no extra charge for Guests already booked.
Deck will be 16ft x 8ft to the rear with a 18ft walkway from the door.

Still no swimming or shows for caravan guests but you can still use the fairground, pubs, skyline and beach. Highly recommend the newly refurbished Highwayman Pub at the entrance to the caravan park. They have some great live singers and also have a redcoat or two to help entertain the kids while the parents relax with a drink overlooking the beautiful lake.

We still have some availability in June if anyone is interested in a last minute getaway to make the most of this lovely weather!

Until the government confirm anything about lifting restrictions on 21 June, we don’t know what changes Butlins will make but currently caravan guests can access all facilities except for the swimming pool and shows. The recently refurbished Highwayman pub is also open to caravan guests and overlooks the lake. There is also an on-site Redcoat to entertain the kids.
