Good morning!
The MPG volunteers are already hard at work putting the final touches to today’s Moffat Christmas Treasures Trail! The “treasure” are the fabulous creators, producers, entertainers and stall holders who will be in warm, dry venues around Moffat. On the map below you can see there will be treasure at:
The Annandale Hotel - huge white & blue hotel half way up the High Street. Follow the snowflake signs!
Hugo’s - the door to the right of the bar /restaurant. Opposite the Ram statue at the top of the High Street, horse box bar outside. Follow the cocktail glass signs!
The Proudfoot Indoor Sport & Social Club - as you stand on the High Street looking at The Famous Star Hotel the Proudfoot is just down the lane on the right of the Star. The Proudfoot bar will be open with warm mince pies, mmm. The treasure is on the ground floor at this venue. Follow the bell signs.
The courtyard behind The Balmoral Hotel, follow the paw prints.
The stage will be on the High Street with events throughout the afternoon, please listen to the volunteers at each venue for updates.
The fairground is beside the stage, near Hugo’s, this year.
Santa will be arriving at the Upper Annandale Parish Church, join the parade from the stage to meet him just after 1pm, after the Fancy Dress competition and Best Dressed pet competition. Exciting!!
