Part 1

With 23 bookings in the first 10 months covering a total of 151 days /21 weeks...5 months worth of booking out of the first 9 months.

Tir y coed is outperforming every other rental in the area by double in its first year.
How long it will be rented out for ..the foreseeable but not forever..

Aug 10th till 16th is still available and then plenty of room September onwards but they will book up last minute as we now have contracts with arthog activity centre in barnmouth and theatre Clwyd.
3 actors left yesterday morning for 3 more in the afternoon.
Hectic summer of gardening and rentals 👍

Cottage steeped in history

Some shaping of the beech hedges conifers amd removal of some small self seeded ash trees.

Pyracantha shaped and hebes plus some bramble removed. The rose shrub ,aucuba ,fuschia and cotoneaster all tidied and cut back

Some major tree work will commence in winter to give the garden more light in summer where trees are entering from loggerheads woods.

This will have to be done with permission from the clywd/flintshire ranger institution as cadole and the surrounding villages are situated within an ANOB....area of outstanding natural beauty. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🌲🌳🌲🌿🙏

Outside back of the house to be repainted after a year of continuous rain and there's a new lifetime pub style picnic bench overlooking the farmers fields and cottage/loggerheads woods.

Also hive or honeywell will be in stored for the oil heating. And some new either wrought iron gates or new wooden ones in the future.

Still looking good for 250 year old cottage. Love the place. Steeped in history.

Tir y coed when cadole or cathole (previously named) was a mining village was split into two cottages back in the day .
To the left was Oak view cottages and to the right was The Haven .
It's now all one cottage amd the previous owners to myself added an extension to the rear back in 2005. Which added a large kitchen, extra front room aside from the snug and reception room , utility room and a king size bedroom with ensuite and extra shower room.

The two real fires would have been where the families would have cooked back in the 18/1900's. Tir y Coed takes its name in welsch from 'land of the trees or 'wood' ...aptly named with loggerheads in your back garden .

The cottage amd garden reflects well in all seasons of the year whether in the sunshine snow or autumn leaves as they turn golden red.

Snowdonia Anglesey and bed gellert aren't far away or staying local in the Clywdian range with villages such as llarnarmon yn lal and Cilcain Ruthin mold maeshafn llanferres (the druids public house) and of course loggerheads itself which can lead up to meol famou. 🏞

David and his wife staying last minute for 18 days due to the flash floods in North Wales on Sunday.
The perfect sanctuary as their home begins repairs. Lovely young couple in their 70s amd their little dog

After allowing pets then removing them because of the mess left (scratches on appliances ..mud up walls and dog hairs in beds and furniture)
I've decided to allow one small dog again...but with stipulations and £100 fine for any of the above . One small dog is welcome as long as people show some respect to my home.

and an almost tangible hint amd whiff of spring hovering in the air ...like an Eagle bound for its prey..🦅🦅🦅..we welcome a couple for the weekend with a real zest for the hills and discovery of the soul within nature's beauty and divine solice...

Christopher amd his beloved are heading on a 15 to 20 Mile adventurous spell binding hike around the offas d**e amd taking in the jubilee Tower of moel famou....what trogans they are !!!👣👣👣👣

Those long summer nights are within distance to make your hunter gatherer hibernation of winter that little more palatable 🙏🕜🐏🌓🌞
