Rather than hang around, it's Bromptie in the boot, and off for a bit of an explore around Trellech, with my flask of coffee. Standing stones, wells and sculptures...... Verge litter pick on the way back to Llanishen 🚮

Brecon to Caerleon, charity bike ride.. The Dalmation Ride (St David's Hospice)
What fabulous organisation, well done to all of the volunteers that make this possible, and well done to all of the other riders, what an awesome bunch they are...
The star of the show for me, and most deserving of the medal was my nearly thirty year old 'skip rescued' Ridgeback hard tail, which performed faultlessly throughout.
I'm definitely going to put my name down for next years Dalmation and Ride

A glorious morning to be out on your bicycle. Especially if you're lucky enough to live right next to the Peregrine Path Sustrans .
Lots of hikers, dog walkers and cyclists all enjoying this stunningly beautiful trail. I met a lovely couple from Hereford with Peggy the Border, checking out the local trails. The scenery is amazing, and the smell of the wild garlic after a light early morning rain, is just 🥰🥰

Lovely to meet Ella and Tom today, pictured here, just about to set off on their eighty mile adventure along the stunningly beautiful river Wye.
Travelling up from Eastbourne, I didn't want them to have any hassles parking in Monmouth...
I secured a parking s**ce in the rowing club carpark at around 8am and carried on with my chores around town....
The little Boardy scooter allows me to cover greater distances quite quickly.

ALL CLEAR NOW.

Fisheries - Swansea University / Prifysgol Abertawe deployed an RST at Upper Bigsweir (51.769126, -2.680473). Attached is an image, plus the Danger sign they have attached to the trap and the riverbank. I

There is a small grey rope that is hard to see on the left-hand side as you look at the trap from upstream. Best for all canoeists to pass on the right.
