Incredibly excited to announce a new house joining Glenskinno Steadings. Jasmine cottage is a beautiful 3 bedroom (1 en-suite) stone cottage nestled in the middle of our family farm. A large kitchen/dining room with patio doors to the garden with separate utility, family bathroom and spacious lounge with a wood burning stove complete with windows looking on to the basin and also patio doors leading to decking in the rear garden looking over to the Angus Glens. The house will comprise 2 x super king bedrooms and 1 twin. To the rear, an enclosed garden complete with decking and hot tub. Waiting for furniture to arrive and the licence to come through. Keep an eye out for booking details and more photos of the beautiful interior 👀.

I remember saying we’d open the plane to guests in spring 2023🥴, but Rome wasn’t built in a day 😆. A friend has made the most stunning tweed lining inserts for the cockpit area where guests will sleep. The linings need to be fitted but they look absolutely amazing and I wanted to show them off to you🤩. A few more decoration things to sort inside then a massive deep clean and we are pretty much good to go so we’ll definitely be open by spring 2025 😆.

Glenskinno steadings sits in the middle of our 500 acre family farm where we grow winter and spring barley, wheat, oil seed r**e and potatoes. The field in front of the main holiday house has oil seed r**e growing in it this year and Steven is currently cutting it in very sunny, but blustery conditions.

We welcomed our first guests 6 years ago today and haven’t looked back. An old shed originally used to feed the working horses was developed into a 4 bedroom house overlooking Montrose basin. Occupancy has been 90% plus ever since with 2025 filling up quickly. In 2020 we added the 2 person shepherds hut which has been equally as successful and once our licence is approved the private jet is ready to go ✈️. Some very exciting news is that we will be adding another 3 bedroom property on the farm this coming autumn so keep your eyes peeled 👀👀.
Thank you for all the support and the many lovely families who have come to stay over the years.

Slowly but surely getting there 🤦🏻‍♂️. Cutting and laying astroturf to lay in the dome and my two helpers have gone on strike. Hoping to be open for September 🫣✈️

Not long now until we launch ✈️. Some interior tweed linings are being made and will be fitted soon and the dome needs finished off then we will be ready for lift off.

Dome almost built, had to surround with potato boxes to provide respite from the northerly winds. We decided to add a dome for some added outdoor space that can be enjoyed in any weather.

Feeling like spring today on the farm. Hot tub has arrived and was installed and wired up today. Getting closer to opening in the next two months hopefully. Once we open for bookings, I will post the link.

Started in the garden now and the hot tub arrived last week and will be fitted in the coming weeks once the landscaping is finished. We are adding some beautiful tweed linings to the interior of the plane where the cockpit was, this was all measured up on Wednesday so hopefully the interior will be completed by mid-March. Still aiming to open for late spring 🫣.

Big tidy up today and chuckies put down. Hot tub arrives next week and the weather looks a bit more settled so we will get the fence finished and landscaping started and hedge trimmed. Can’t wait to see it completed come late spring ✈️

The jet is a bit snowy today, perfectly located with views to Montrose basin looking south and the Angus glens looking north and west. Hedges due for a trim to make the most of the amazing views over to Montrose Basin in the coming week. Hot tub arrives on the 6th of February and we are aiming to be open for Easter but still not taking bookings until closer to the time. Electrician is working on a plan to light up the plane with spot lights so it looks impressive in the dark. Incredibly excited for the end result ✈️

The Steading all ready for our Christmas guests arriving today. Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and here’s to another successful year in 2024 with the launch of the private jet short term let in spring 2024 ✈️. A rare dusting of snow today on the farm and looking very peaceful today ❄️

I put the Christmas decorations up at the steading today before our next guests arrive. Beautiful day here on the east coast but very cold and frosty, but that also means the dogs come home clean after a walk round the farm 🙌🏻.
