Throwback to some of the stunning meals we’ve eaten at Newton on the Moor, only a mile up the road from . Showcasing the best of Northumberland’s ingredients, all locally sourced, with plenty of outside seating in the beer garden and of course it’s dog friendly too ♥️

We’ve been dying to visit in Alnwick for quite a few months now and we can report that it did not disappoint. The interior is stunning and it’s by far the best Sunday dinner we’ve eaten since we could actually eat in a restaurant again, and incredible value at £9.95 or £17 for 3 courses. The service was slick, fast and friendly, bill for 2 with drinks, and coffees only £42. Sadly the roof terrace was fully booked due to something called football but it sounded like a whole lot of fun was happening up there. We will definitely be back very soon ♥️

Gorgeous Rollo has found his spot after a good sniff around. We have dedicated doggy throws for the sofas that are laundered after every stay and have committed to the Covid cleaning standard. So far all of our reviewers have given us ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for cleanliness, so if you don’t have a doggy, you’d never know one had been there ☺️

Looks like our latest doggy guest Penny has found her sofa spot ♥️

Your pets are always welcome at 20 Leaf Lane, we provide food and water bowls, dedicated pet towels and an outside tap for muddy paws as well as a supply of doggy treats. We don’t mind pups on the sofas either as they are covered with throws that are changed and laundered for each new guest

Even better, “The Locals”, The Cook and Barker Inn and The Northumberland Arms both welcome your 4 legged friends so you don’t have to leave them while you enjoy some great Northumberland grub 🐾🦮

After a restful night at Leaf Lane 🍃 & a walk through the woods to Swarland, what better way to end a short break than with a gorgeous lunch at The Northumberland Arms in nearby Felton. It didn’t win the Tripadvisor 2021 Travellers Choice award for nothing!

Happy to report that our first ever guests loved their stays and we’ve also hosted our first pups 🐶♥️

All of our weekends are now booked until September but we do have some weekday availability over the summer if you need a little staycation.
