⚠️ CLOSED MONDAY 22nd JULY ⚠️

Change is good for the soul and we think it will be even better for our ice cream!

Our shop is getting a refurb, and whilst you may be thinking mid July isn’t the best the time to rip out an ice cream parlour, our new counter has been hand built in Italy and is ready to go into its home. So you have until Sunday at 5pm to say goodbye to the counter that has seen us through 21 years.

From Tuesday 23rd we will be operating an alfresco ice cream service with our trailer. We will have:
🍦 10 flavours of ice cream into cones/tubs
🍦 our freezer full of 500ml and 1 litre tubs
🍦 cold drinks
🍦 pre-bottled milk

We are hoping for a smooth transition of a week or two and that we will be back in the shop before you know it!

This Little Farmer Went To Market card machine is now up and running in the GinGan, cash obviously still taken too! You can sit in the GinGan with a coffee or cuppa or take home there are lovely delights to choose from.

The nursery is now open…. 10am -5pm
closed on Mondays , except bank holidays. We welcome This Little Farmer Went To Market on the weekends here at Stanton in the GinGan for cakes and treats. And have beautiful metal work creations for your gardens made here in Northumberland by PA METAL Crafts.

Rapeseed oil from Seabanks oil and vinegar a must for in your kitchen cupboard plus sweet local honey from Cragend Farm made by the hardworking bees and the Fenwick’s!
And there is a whole shop full of Errington Reay Pottery pottery well actually it’s overflowing we can’t fit all the pots in the shop!

Come and say hi and explore our gardens and nursery and get a little bit lost in plants!

Cake update! … Social media can be truly amazing sometimes- full of helpful people who give their time and advice to help others out. Because of all you lovely people we had a number of businesses and bakers get in contact after we announced the sad news of Cakeability Browns retirement and needing a potential replacement.

So we have got the team from This Little Farmer Went To Market coming to Stanton and because they are super organised and hardworking they can make our opening weekend - next weekend the 23rd March!

We are looking forward to the next cake adventure in the GinGan and we hope you are too, always amazing to speak to other local, family business’s. Cakes and treats await you next weekend oh and a few plants toooo!
