What a day and it is not over yet! Thank you to Karen at The Star Inn - Harbottle for holding on to some of our guests until we could get to them.
Big thank you also to the brave tractor driver who rescued one guest and bought them safely to Harbottle.
Our amazing Kidlandlee team, what can I say. You braved the elements and came to work so that our guests would not be let down should they make it. You are so amazing and the best.
Now we wait, the river is swelling and broken it’s banks at Clennell, our thoughts are with our villagers in the valley and those who will be up all night keeping everyone safe as the storm rages on here.
