National Trust lover? Fair to say we use all of these great places either with our without the grandchildren looking after us.
Which is your fabulous favourite ⤵️🙌🏻

When it comes to keeping children entertained and burning off their energy over the summer holidays, is there anything better than a good adventure playground? At the National Trust’s places in the North East, we have some of the best, including these four:

🛝 Wallington NT : The play train at Wallington is something a bit special. Situated in the woods alongside its own station platform, the colourful locomotive is great fun to climb on, and encourages imaginative play. The train is one of four play areas at Wallington, along with the play fort, Little Acorns nature play space and the adventure playground.

🛝 : Follow the Explorer Trail to discover the Strawberry Castle adventure play area and take on the Low Ropes challenge between the trees,

🛝 Cragside: Let the kids run free in the adventure playground, where they can balance on the beams of the log mountain, climb the witch’s hat, glide on a zip wire and slide down tunnels. If that’s not enough to tire them out, there also a trim trail between the play area and labyrinth with monkey bars, cargo nets, tyre swings and more.

🛝 : For a different kind of outdoor play experience, try the Delaval Playdium. As well as the more traditional adventure play equipment like swings, rope walk, slide and scramble net, you’ll find a centrepiece stage with theatre mechanics, hidden thunderclaps and rain cloud sounds.

Woooohoooo! Oliver Bonas Morpeth opening ⤵️🙌🏻🛍️🛍️🛍️

Our beautiful Oliver Bonas store will open this Saturday - Saturday 29th June 🕺👀

The shop will open at 9.30am at the popular Morpeth-based shopping centre and there are a few special treats for shoppers visiting on opening day.

There will be a DJ spinning the decks between Noon and 4pm, plus visitors will be welcomed in with a free non-alcoholic drink from the Drink Living Things brand during the hours when the DJ is on.

Oliver Tress, Founder of Oliver Bonas, said: “Oliver Bonas are thrilled to bring our unique blend of creativity and joy to Morpeth with our new store opening.

“Our mission is to inspire customers and create an uplifting, inclusive shopping experience.

“We look forward to becoming a part of the Morpeth community, offering our distinctive range of designs and exceptional customer service."

Every guest staying at The Morpeth Apartment tells a story. We had a 40th birthday boy and his dear Dad from Edmonton, Canada exploring Northumberland and they had a great time! Thanks to for looking after them so well.
We get guests from all over the world from Hawaii and as close as Gateshead but each one has their own reason to escape marvellous Morpeth and stay in our gorgeous holiday apartment.
