The Shropshire town of Much Wenlock is a quintessentially English town, off the beaten track, but well worth the visit. Much Wenlock is a stunningly beautiful medieval town and played a major part in the 19th century revival of the Olympic Games.

This week - Santa has lost some of his reindeer!! Children are needed to help him find them in our treasure hunt. Forms from Croft Design.

Santa’s story time is at 6pm in the Guildhall.

Due to the weather warnings issued, it is with regret that we have made the decision to cancel our Christmas Fayre for this Saturday. The wind gusts are forecast to be around 67 mph, and we have been advised that this would put our stallholders and visitors at risk.

The fayre committee will be getting in touch with all the stallholders, entertainment and everyone else that is connected to the fayre as soon as possible.

We are very sorry to have to do this, and we hope you can understand why our decision was necessary.

On Saturday evening over 300 people gathered for a stunning light display and lantern parade at Much Wenlock Priory, marking the 60th anniversary of the historic site's transfer from Wenlock Estates to English Heritage's custodianship.
