Druimorrin nestles in pleasant countryside, encircled by tree-covered hills, with peaceful glens on your doorstep, and all the Highlands yours to explore. As a family, we have been welcoming holiday makers to Druimorrin since 1974. The trees are a little taller now, and the road a little quieter, but we hope to offer the same warmth of personal service. It is always a pleasure to make new acquaint
ances and greet old friends returning year after year. Ours is a small, family-run concern and we like to make sure that our guests feel welcome and well looked after. We want to help make your holiday as enjoyable as possible, so if you would like information or advice on possible day trips or where to eat out, to chat about local stories or anything else, we will be happy to oblige. A Highland Haven
Druimorrin lies in the quaint Highland parish of Urray and can provide the perfect tranquil retreat from the crowded tourist areas. The modest River Orrin runs past us here and the peace of Strathconon is a stone’s throw away, with its winding, single-track road and awe-inspiring scenery. Native wildlife inhabit the surrounding countryside in happy abundance. Nature lovers will relish the chance to watch red kites wheel, herons glide, pheasants strut and ospreys hunt from the comfort of the caravan itself and early risers may even catch a glimpse of shy roe deer crossing the park. Ideal for touring
Making Druimorrin your base for your holiday means that you will have the rugged beauty of the North of Scotland at your disposal, while still within 20 minutes’ or so drive of all the facilities of the Highland capital, Inverness. Our location makes it easy to travel right across the Highlands to investigate the splendour of magnificent coastlines and romantic islands and still be back in time for your evening meal. Hillwalkers and photography enthusiasts particularly appreciate how readily some of Scotland’s most stunning landscapes are reached from here.
