Here is one of our lovely groups (Lorraine and friends) who booked to stay at the house this time last year and a follow up, this weekend! Two photos of Lorraine's group, a year apart! Last year blazing hot, eating outside under the vines, and this year, well, it had to be an indoor/outdoor BBQ! Thanks to our weird July weather this year! Thank you Lorraine for returning to Beach House Mundesley again! We love it when groups return, it means so much to us that people return time and again.

A few weeks ago, we were very honoured that Professional Artist and Certified Art Tutor, Sophia Flowers chose Beach House Mundesley as the venue for a week long residential painting holiday again. This is the second time Sophia has run her early summer Norfolk painting course here with us and in fact she is also due back again for a short mid week course this October and next year again in June! Wonderful, creative art work was produced, as you can see on the images and lots of visits to wonderful gardens locally to inspire the students!

There are a couple of places left on the mid week October residential painting course. It's happening from 14th to 17th October 24, and Sophia says beginners are welcome, no painting experience is required, but the classes are also ideal for those wishing to move forward with their painting skills and discover new and exciting ways of getting ideas on to canvas. Here is such a fun themed Mexican dinner party created by Karens Catering and Event Planning! Karen and her team bring everything you need; the music, decorations, outfits, and the themed dinner party food of course too! I can imagine this being a big hit with many of our visitors (hen weekends, birthday weekends etc). Head over to her page to book, she also does Indian nights, James Bond nights. In contrast to the usual 'sunny day beach walk' videos I put up sometimes, today it is like this and the wind is howling, being this close to the sea means we take a battering every time there is a storm! But it's very cosy inside, I actually like being in the house, listening to the wind and rain and looking at the stormy sea! Has anyone got snow?

Bring up to 16 of your favourite people, book a chef, or a table at opposite, chill in the hot tub & (brand new) sauna (arriving this week). Walk on the stunning beach opposite the house. Visit Cromer. Or just cook pizza and watch films together! Book early for weekends, we are booked out for weekends till November 2024, but ask us about a "mid week special' with dinner cooked by our Personal Chef, afternoon tea and a beauty treatment for just £275 per person for groups of 7 to 16 people.

Dinner Parties in the kitchen at Beach House Mundesley - this is a very special picture to me, its my parents in-law's 65th birthday celebration, taken 10 years ago. Peter & Linda invited their best friends to the house, cooked for them, it was a lovely evening, even though I had a broken foot! Many special memories have been created round that table, for our guests and also for my family. If you've stayed with us, tell me your special event and please show me a photo, I'd love to see them! Ho, Ho, Ho! 🎄🎅 How about getting your family or friends together for a weekend this December? We have a rare couple weekends available which would be ideal if you can't all be together on the big day but still want to have a Christmas Dinner all together, or visit Christmas markets in Norfolk. There is SO much to do round here leading up to Christmas, for instance Luminate Sandringham or North Norfolk Railway PLC Santa Express train, or Felbrigg Hall which has Christmas activities all weekends in December, the Sheringham Pantomime at Sheringham Little Theatre , I could go on! This weekend we organised some special activities for our group of ladies (organised by ) having a weekend away by the sea: a chef for a 3 course dinner () a 30 minute beauty treatment () and a luxury afternoon tea ()
Fabulous weather today, and tomorrow I believe a long walk and lunch before a late departure Sunday evening. We never make people leave on Sunday morning, standard check out time on Sunday is 6pm so you can make the most of the weekend! Have fun ladies!

If this lovely Indian summer weather continues (though I have to admit we have a bit of sea fog up here today) this great article lists some lovely pub gardens in Norfolk to enjoy alfresco lunches or drinks, including our very own The Ship Inn, Mundesley, opposite Beach House Mundesley which gets a lovely write up from the Muddy Stilettos Norfolk people.

It's beautiful here on the North Norfolk coast right now, and our Mediterranean garden has an outside table to eat together, the grape vines shading the area is hung with the most amazing bunches of grapes this year! The olive trees thrive in the sun trap garden. It's a lovely place to sit together and chat when you aren't on the beach or out and about! Let's hope the weather stays good for a while!
