Great cafe with delicious cakes. A lovely place for us to go, rain or shine. Provides local jobs too. At a time like this be kind and support local business. Can’t believe people are complaining.

Nairn is a pretty coastal town dating back to Victorian times. It is a popular holiday destination and is just 16 miles from the city of Inverness. Nairn town offers beautiful beaches, quaint fisherman cottages and two world class golf courses. Also, one of the only two dolphin colonies in the UK is based in the Moray Firth.

Nairn is steeped in history and is closely linked with the Battle of Culloden, whilst nearby Fort George is Europe’s best preserved 18th century military fortification. In addition, nearby Cawdor Castle will be of interest to literature buffs and fans of Shakespeare.

Golfing enthusiasts will be attracted to the two 18-hole championship courses, including the Nairn Dunbar Golf Club, and those who wish to be pampered can visit the Golf View Hotel & Spa.
