“Care providers of the highest quality
In late 2021, we were looking for a live-in care provider for our stepmother, who was then 96years old. We were concerned about finding the right one as there were a lot of choices. We were acutely aware they were not all of the same standard.
When Helping Hands was recommended to us by a local hospital contact, we approached them with a degree of caution. However, any concern that we may have had was dispelled very quickly. Their attention to detail, their organisation and their pride in their work was immediately clear. Everything fell into place seamlessly and they provided a high-quality carer for our stepmother a week after our first enquiry.
The carer was excellent, highly professional and went above and beyond what was required of her; something that we found with all Helping Hands personnel. She became good friends and companion for our stepmother and a part of her extended family rather than someone who was employed just to do a job of work.
Our stepmother was able to live the last part of her life, safely and comfortably in her own home where she wanted to be, in the knowledge that she was being looked after by kind, careful and highly professional people.
The care provided to our stepmother was enhanced by the support network provided by Helping Hands. In particular, the line management were all extremely knowledgeable, very approachable, and very helpful.
We would have no hesitation in recommending Helping Hands as an organisation that is extremely well placed to provide the very best personal care to those who need it.
Thank you, Phil”

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Congratulations for our live-in care team for this incredible customer review !
“I would like to highly recommend Helping Hands live-in care. My mum lives with dementia but told us previously that her wish was to continue living in her own home.
This was all possible with carers coming in 3 times a day. I live 150 miles away from her so most of the time I could only keep in touch with her over the phone. Over time she was becoming increasingly anxious, confused, upset and unmanageable. Dramas were occurring on a daily basis. We had so much stress and concern for her safety and wellbeing. We had reached the time to give live-in care a go.
What a transformation that has occurred over the last 6 months!! Mum is now back to her normal happy self. Her daily needs of washing, dressing and dispensing medication are all taken care of. Also keeping the house spotless and taking her out into the garden when the weather allows. Organising her meals and having someone to keep her company.
I would especially like to commend Tendai who is her main carer and is an absolute hero in looking after her, patient and compassionate. Secondly Donna, who arranged our initial consultation when we set up mum’s care. Answering all our questions and making sure everything ran smoothly by getting things started. She regularly checks in with us to make sure we are 100% happy with everything.
We no longer have to try and sort out from a distance daily dramas and upsets at all times of the day. As a family we are so grateful to have our mum happy again and her old laughing personality restored.
Thank you, Stephen.”
